Containaphobia Escape Room Geelong

Me and some co-workers booked this on a bit of a whim as some of them had never experienced an escape room before. The whole experience was wonderful and easily the best room I've completed.For those interested in how scary the experience is, as the owner said, its an escape room primarily, not a horror house and he was spot on. You can expect loud noises and jump scares but you won't be losing your mind the entire time.The puzzles were excellent and the staff were incredible, so I couldn't recommend this enough, an excellent way to spent a night.For anyone looking for a more intense horror experience the owner told us he's working on new game called Carnivorous" with the primary focus being the horror

It’s by far the best escape room I’ve experienced! It’s not your typical escape room, there’s no walkie talkie or flash light on hand. The puzzles were complex at times but we had help when we really needed it. The final stage was quite immersive, our group loved it! Looking forward to the next escape room :) 10 stars for sure.

By far the best, most well thought out and executed escape room we have done!There were some serious jump scares followed by belly laughter!Was such a fun night, I wish we could do it again not knowing the answers to the clues!

Very thoughtful puzzles and creative gadgets but really lacking in people skills here. As soon as we arrived we were aggressively approached for opening the wrong door; which set the tone for the whole experience. I would suggest improving on your communication systems and your PR skills as people (not gadgets) are the business!

Loved it. We didn't survive but we certainly enjoyed the room! Great setup. Started easier and got progressively harder to super hard . Just the two of us 50 yr olds having fun. Larger groups would have a ball as well as couples so definitely recommend

So so good! This was our first escape room and it was awesome. We didn’t solve it but everything was so carefully thought through and the puzzles and backstory were great. 10/10 recommend! The ambience and vibe was so cool from the moment we arrived to a very ominous location. Loved it!

I had only been to around 5 escape rooms before I came to Containaphobia, but it was enough to know that this escape room trumps all of them. The attention to detail, the vibe of the room, and the audio / effects were out of this world. I have already recommended this place to so many people and will continue to do so. The owner of this place deserves much more recognition for his creativity. Even though I'm WAY too scared to take on Carnivorous, I am so looking forward to hearing about it. :) Carla and Corey

Amazing attention to detail in all of the rooms.The puzzles were challenging, the host created an atmosphere straight from the moment we left our car.By far one of the best experiences for beginners and escape room pros.Will DEFINITELY be back for the new room carnivorous.

By far the best escape room I've ever done. Owners did an amazing job of setting the mood before you even enter the location, rooms were very well designed, and the entire time was thrilling.Even when speaking with the owners you can tell how passionate they are, and it comes through in this experience.Highly, highly recommend.

My sister and I chose to do Containaphobia today. It was an excellent experience. From the very start of booking, the scenes begin to set with the storyline, undisclosed location until the day, scary text messages etc. The puzzles were hard and although we didn't make it through, was a decent effort for us, considering she had never done a room before. A little scare factor in there which was very well done, props and clues were a high standard and the effects of one of the rooms was amazing. High quality escape room, amazing owner and highly recommend you go to this! I cannot wait for the new room to be added and I will definitely be back to do this. Best escape room I've done so far.
