Faisal is an amazing physio. He clearly loves his job and has personally helped me recover from my sports injuries on multiple occasions. He has a caring nature and clearly knows his craft. He has built a great environment and you can see the care he puts into his patients. He always provides short videos so you know exactly how to do the exercises by yourself. I came to Faisal searching for someone to help me with my chronic joint pain as well as someone who could show me how to workout around my pain points. When I first came to Faisal, I felt quite hopeless that my foot pain of about two years would never be cured. My pain made walking even ten minutes highly painful and kept me from feeling like I could keep active or even walk to public transport. Faisal was the first person to see my pain, understand the root cause, and find a simple solution. He gave me the exercises I needed to fix the root cause and the skills to upkeep it on my own. He was also the first person to investigate a pain I would feel during an exercise to deduce if it was furthering the problem or a “good pain”, giving me the confidence to continue working out the injury. Throughout my time working with Faisal, my chronic condition would cause more joint pains to flare up. Faisal kept finding ways to help each pain while continuing to give me workouts so I could feel like I was strengthening my body and not just suffering from a new injury. Anytime I’ve shown up to a session feeling down or demoralized, Faisal would find a way to show me the positive. He holds space for physical and mental pain and helps you work through both. He’s someone that has a holistic approach to health and shows you that each session. He’s able to help you push yourself and also pull you back to stay safe and not further aggravate any injury.Additionally, I’ve received remedial massages from Milky. She was incredible and could physically feel my pain points. Whenever I would bump into her in passing she would check up on me and I really felt she cared. I’ve found the whole team at Strongliving to be extremely caring, giving, and truly listens to the needs of each person. It definitely feels as though that is the main mission of Strongliving, that each person entering feels that any person on the team truly cares about you as a person and cares that you feel better.

I was at my wit's end about my chronic nerve pain when I reached out to Faisal. I had seen 3 physios, tried acupuncture and went to multiple massage therapists to try to get on top of the problem but it was only when I had my consult and starting having regular sessions with Faisal that I was actually understanding the causes of my problems and finally getting relief for the pain. Fast forward to 6 months later I am training with weights that I never thought my body could handle and even doing kickboxing sessions! Faisal has a holistic approach, is incredibly knowledgeable and has been nothing but kind and patient when listening to my concerns. Faisal really puts in the time and effort with each client and creates tailored plans according to your fitness level, problems and goals. For someone who has anxiety, Faisal's calm and caring nature has been so helpful especially on those days that are just a bit harder. I know this will be a long journey to get my body back on track but I wouldn't trust anyone but Faisal to help me get there!

Faisal is the best exercise physiologist around. He always goes above and beyond for his clients and it’s very obvious that he truly cares about the work he does. He is very knowledgeable and is always happy to pass on this knowledge to clients to help them succeed. I have also seen Emily when Faisal has been unavailable and she is also awesome and very good at what she does. Highly recommend!
