One of the worst decisions of my life buying a Bonaire. Have had the unit for close to a year, has been replaced once and now I am told the new unit 'is fine'. At best it 'cools' the house to 30 degrees on a 21 degree day - so you be the judge?! Service is rubbish, ability to even get through on the phone is rubbish. I am extremely disappointed and would NEVER, EVER deal with them again.Other buyers beware!

We purchased three split systems. 2.5kw, 3.5kw and 7kw. All have functioned perfectly for 12 months now, both heating and cooling. Very pleased with the competitively priced units.

I am not particularly impressed with certain aspects of the air conditioning unit itself, but the people who actually work at Bonnair have been nothing short of outstanding. We had our fourth instance where the unit failed in 20 months just as a heat wave was approaching. When I explained that my wife was unwell, the service team could not have been more helpful and the problem was fixed in less than 24 hours. I was fully prepared to either have no air conditioning till next year or source the part myself and repair the unit at my expense.ps. When is Australia going to wake up that you are better off paying a bit more and having reliable products made in Australia rather than importing cheaply made inferior products. My first Bonnair unit made in Australia, lasted 35 years and when a part finally did fail, the only replacement bit was an overseas made one which lasted less than a year.

We had a warranty claim on our A/C so called Bonaire and spoke to Gerry who took us through the whole process and organised for Kelly's Hot-water & Gas in Mandurah to contact us, which they did. Andrea arranged for one of their technicians to confirm it was a warranty and promptly ordered the parts, which were fitted within 7 days. All this was done from 16/12/2022 until 23/12/2022. Could not be happier. Quick, helpful, efficient service just before Christmas. Would highly recommend Bonaire and Kelly's for outstanding service. We wish you all a very prosperous 2023. Aircon receiver replacement.Not professional at all. YouTube for an hour and can not solve the problem. The water pump pipe is disconnected intentionally for their next call out.....350 dollars paid without helping anything.

Had an old Bonaire Central heater which was amazing until it blew. Got it upgraded to a new Bonaire one and that was a huge mistake. The heater itself is good but the new remote thermostat can't keep a steady temperature to save it's life regardless of where we put it and what temp we set. If we set 18c it'll drop to 15/16 if we set 19c it'll get up to 23/24. We've tried putting the thermostat remote in literally every corner of the house, on the floor, next to the intake, hanging up, makes no difference. New heater has actually ruined our house as it's either freezing or an inferno in here and makes life we a baby more difficult than it needs to be. We've had two service call outs and they replaced the first remote and the problem persists. Really frustrated with the new unit and don't recommend at all.

So far is a bad experience with them. The aircon is pretty new but it always gave error code. Finally get someone to fix it two weeks ago and now new error code appeared. Their hotline is very hard to get through, I wonder why. Finally able to speak to a customer service agent, he sound very rude. He said they are extremely busy and wanted us to just try switch on and off from the main switch. If this method doesn't work, call them again!!! I started to know why they are busy as probably their aircon always gave issues and people have to call them to fix it.Please, if you want to do business, improve your product and customer service. I will never buy air con from Bonnair again. Seems like the feedback only replied to positive feedback and not addressing to negative feedback.

As a tech on the ground I find it very difficult to get a hold of their tech support. By enlarge Bonaire evap units are good but because of the lack of support I end up recommending one of their competitors.When I do get hold of their tech guys, their knowledge is spot on however.

Would never buy a Bonaire again. The aircon broke down 3 times in the 5 year warranty period and has now broken down again 6 months out of warranty. Warranty support is through Climate Technologies who are difficult to get through to on the phone and can't do repairs in a timely manner, wanting to repair 3 weeks later.
