One of the best places to check out when staying in Bright.Just a 20min drive from Bright, The Dredge Hole makes for a great day out.Nice little Jetty, Cool Rope Swings and decent water to swim in.OK for kids but would suggest that kids should wear a Life Jacket, even if they are confident swimmers.

Awesome little swim hole..Be aware.. IT'S DEEP and coldish water..But Awesome for a Kayak, swim, floaty toys and a good family day out..There are toilets available up in the carpark too.

A green algae filled lake, I fail to see the appeal. Numerous signage about dangerous blue green algae in the lake.

Absolutely beautiful! Clear water to swim in, and a lot of places to sit and have a picnic. The trail around the lake is also quite nice. Really recommend going in the morning, however; on nice days, it can get pretty busy.

Like an American holiday movie, big trees open up to a picturesque massive pool of water, complete with a rope swing that the kids (and some adults) love. Good for small blow up floatation devices or paddle boards. Nice place for a picnic, and they have toilets,
