Shell Coles Express Peninsula Gateway

Good supermarket but don't have a lot of choices.

Doing it rought this week but had a trusty $50 Coles shopping card and was in need of fuel in the car. I called up Shell Coles Express to ask if they accepted Normal Coles Shopping Cards for Fuel and he replied YES.I get there, my housemate went inside to prepay, the casheer waves to me indicating that me, outside at the pump, am okay to use the bowser. I fill $10 in and after returning the bowser pump to the holster, I see both the casheer and my housemate taking a little too long for a simple card payment. Turns out Casheer couldn't see any funds on the unused card and tried blaming it on us as he cannot accept the Coles Gift Card. He alleged my housemate took the card from the Gift Card shelf on his way over to the kiosk and then demanded payment of another. I saw that he had then took down my plate number and wrote as if we committed theft but then shooed me and my housemate (who were 100% absolutely civil) as I was coming inside the store to pay with my Visa Debit Card but then shooed me away again saying Don't worry about it. No doubt a humiliating experience and then shooed away as if we were too mundane to pay after he makes drama of it shows they need to be more clear and wait for those with gift cards to inspect and make sure they can be an acceptable form of payment before lynching the customer."

Well played out pumps for easy access.

exceptional service. nicesest lady , i definartely stop here again on the way to holiday at peninsula . My coles docket was out of date and she the lady gave me extra 4cents off anyway which made my day something so little as $2 was the kindness

I hope I could give them 0 Star. I arrived 5 minutes before closing time today(7th of December 2019). A guy was inside the shop, the pumps were not off. But he refused to let me add petrol. I said it is not the closing time yet, he simply turn off the pumps! Very bad experience
