Always use my Cleveland Mitre 10 as the staff actually greet you and offer one on one service vs Bunnings where you’re strictly on your own. Mitre 10 can’t and doesn’t carry huge amounts of stock and are significantly more expensive but it’s a local family business and they go out of their way to please so I go there 95% of the time!

The people here have always been very helpful and friendly. You might have to wait a few minutes for someone but unlike Bunnings they will return to help you out.

My first time in a Mitre 10 store... mighty unhelpful. Rude staff from the moment I entered. When Head Office sends emails saying click and collect orders are ready, they are not actually ready in store 2 days after notification. Despite the products sitting on shelf, and emails to prove purchase, staff initially refused to honour click and collect because they could not be bothered to find the paperwork for the order. To their credit, they came out 5min later to say they had been able to locate the paperwork, but they fact that they didn't try in the first place and told me to come back in 2 hours when the office girls were in" isn't acceptable. I won't be back."
