Hollyhock Bed and Breakfast

I stayed recently in this picturesque property, close to the tiny township & central to everything that is beautiful about Mt Macedon. My host Chris was an absolute delight, warmly inviting me into her home & full of local knowledge. Nothing was too much & Chris made me feel like a queen on holiday! Chris reveals a genuine Australian hospitality whereas the breakfast is delightful, warming our hearts amid frosty weather.

As soon as we walked in we felt calm and relaxed.The beautiful bay windows are perfect to unwind with a cuppa.We had our own entrance, bathroom with jet tub and that beautiful private wrap around deck to soak up that view.We both had a really good nights sleep and even asked chris to bring our breaky a little later the next morning, just so we could have a sleep in.Chris welcomed us with open arms as soon as we arrived.She also cooks a beautiful breakfast with her home laid eggs, bacon mushrooms and tomatoes. You won't leave hungry, before your big breaky chris also brings oats, fresh fruit, yoghurt and plunger coffee.Thanks so much for a lovely stay!We will definitely be back!

Chris was a welcoming and accommodating host. Lovley stay with a great breakfast. Opened the bifold windows for breakfast for a nice view and of the mountain!

A very large room with plenty of facilities. The bathroom had both a shower and a bath. A nice view of the garden and a very good breakfast

What a lovely place to stay even in a cold rainy day. The heartwarming host Chris made our short stay such a beautiful experience that I would highly recommend to my friends. In addition to the spotless clean room and the comfortable bed, Chris made us a full indulgent healthy breakfast that totally blew us away. Actually I haven't had such a decent breaky for a long time. Hope to see you again Chris, in September probably:-)

A delightful place to stay in Macedon. Friendly but not intrusive host. Spotless room with all you need & more. Fabulous bed. Beautiful breakfast. A lovely garden & peaceful surrounds. A few minutes walk to shops and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The accommodation was warm, very comfortable and well appointed. Chris the host was delightful and made us feel instantly at home. Her hospitality and the wonderful home cooked breakfast made our visit extra special. I definitely recommend staying here.
