Kieran the Cobbler
Kieran has now done four pairs of vibram soles, 3 of which that have had either triumph or lulu plates as well. The finishing is comparable to what you’d expect at the shoe manufacturer. In other words, the quality and service is second to none. Would highly recommend. Great guy and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Kieran!

Kieran is a passionate cobbler who is extremely knowledgable. I entrusted him with two pairs of designer boots that were falling apart. In less than a week they came back rejuvenated as good as new. Even planted some nails to reinforce the construction and prolong the glue/cement holding down the sole. Complimentary polish and spruce-up was an added bonus! Pickup and drop-off was a seamless process as he’s mobile and covers most of Sydney. I highly recommend his service.

I have been using Kieran for all my shoe related work. To date he has done over 15 pairs of toe plates and a few pairs of topies on shoes of various brands from RM Williams to Edward Green and John Lobb.I trust him to do a great job and the plates normally look like they were installed from the factory. Very responsive too.

Did a fantastic job on my Carmina's. No-one locally in Perth was able to put flush metal toe plates on and he was clearly very experienced from all the finished pairs that he's posted. Shipped them off and for a very reasonable price he was able to do them and send them back within 1 day of arrival. Excellent communication and discusses pros/cons of options available. Will be my go-to cobbler from now on and even though he's interstate, he's very much worth it.

I'll never go to another cobbler now I've met Kieran. Excellent worker who communicates well. Always can recommend what's best with repairs and I trust his judgement 100%.Had numerous shoe jobs done by him now not to mention 4 belts! All custom made which is incredible.Got a beaten up pair of RMs due in the post which I can't wait to hand over to Kieran to see the sparkling result.

Kieran resoled a pair of Wolverine 1000 mile boots for me. I've attached some photos of the GYW resole which was done to a high standard with new JR Rendenbach soles & heels, and brass plated toe taps.

My RM's were in need of a new sole. RM were advising a 3 month turnaround, which for my day to day work boots wasn't ideal. Found Kieran mentioned a bit online, reached out and he was super friendly, honest, answered all of my dumb questions and offered a timely turnaround and a reasonable price. Posted my boots to him, he kept me updated throughout the process, and the boots arrived back in good time. The quality of the resole appears flawless to my eye. He doesn't stock official RM soles, so went with Dainite which so far seems just as good as original and has an interesting tread. Thanks heaps Kieran.

Did a rubber topy job a few days before Xmas. Kieran was super friendly and efficient. He asked where I was based and when he discovered that I wasn't really a local, he offered to complete the job super quickly so I didn't have to come back another day. Awesome service!He also showed me his workshop and was enthusiastic with giving me advice on other shoe issues.Kieran's place was bit hard to find and I had to give him a call after arriving on his street.Highly recommended. Please keep doing what you are doing Kieran!

I had a pair of Crockett and Jones that had seen better days. Kieran resoled them and added flush toe caps. He suggested hand stitching to extend the life of the shoe (to avoid putting more holes in the leather), which I appreciated. Kieran runs a very professional outfit. His communication is excellent, his pricing is transparent, and he genuinely wants to help you get the most out of your shoes. Despite being in Perth, I will use Kieran in future.

Kieran is clearly a boot enthusiast and it shows in the level of craftsmanship of his work and quality of hardware used. Communication with me was prompt, personal, and helpful.Very happy with the quality of work and will be entrusting him with my collection as resoles slowly roll around.
