Expedition Dive

Great tour with a beginners and intermediate option for where you want to snorkel. We did the beginners since 2 of the 3 of us didn't know how to swim. Our guide was very patient and able to get everyone to see something. Beautiful fish in various colors, shapes, and sizes. We even spotted the pufferfish and stingray all at the shallow end!

Jason was AWESOME! He took my dive buddy and me on two INCREDIBLE dives and was so informative about the marine life in Australia. He kept the group small, which is my personal preference for dives, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. Would 10/10 recommend diving with him!

Thank you Jason ! A surprisingly beautiful and memorable dive at Bare Island. Despite the limited visibility, Jason knew perfectly well the place and led us through colorful coral and stone formations, letting us encounter delightful species : a stone fish, an octopus, a moray eel, and most importantly a gorgeous meter-long blue grouper who played around with us for a few minutes. We loved it and 100% would recommend !

The dive was great! Jason was an informative and personable instructor. Shortly after getting into the water we were met with the aquatic life around Bear island. During the dive we saw octopus, eels, a couple of Wobbegong sharks, and a big blue grouper named Wally. The trip was great and will come back to experience it again!

My partner Travis and I had a great time getting PADI certified with Jason. Although I was nervous as it was my first time diving, Jason helped to reassure me throughout the process. By the end of the two days of training I felt empowered and confident in my skills. We also got to see some amazing marine life including a shark, octopus, Wallie the blue grouper, and more.

When choosing a dive company to go with, you always want to find one that not only promises a good time, but also makes sure you’re comfortable and safe! And this was all the above!Having not dived for awhile, Jason who’s the main instructor, gave me a quick refresh and made sure I was comfortable in the water again (I might have needed some extra help being the klutz that I am but he was always ready to lend a helping hand). He’s great at spotting the hidden sea creatures so you do get quite a bit out of your dives! Great fun patting and playing with Wally (a huge fish), spotted a shark egg and more!To top it off, he’s an absolute riot with his dad jokes. So want a great way to spend the afternoon, he’s your man. Booking process was easy, call them and just arrange a date!His assistant Eri was lovely too and helped with everything! The hot tea and fresh fruits in between the dive was a great perk me up.All in all, a great time! Great dive, great company. Wasn’t sure I was going to dive in Sydney but Jason and Eri made sure I had no regrets doing so! Look forward to diving with you guys again when I’m in Sydney. Thanks guys!

Jason took us out just this morning for the best drive we have done in Sydney or surrounding areas. He was very easy to get along with, highly trustworthy and detailed when going through our dive plan and spoke about some of the expectations.Conditions outside weren't great, which meant not too many people were out. We have the site to ourselves in a group of 2 plus Jason.We managed to see a few stingrays, wobbygongs, port jacksons, the local celebrity grouper and for the first time in my dives he stopped an octopus. Amazing! Highly recommended.

I did two dives off the coast of Bare island with Jason. He was extremely nice and accommodating. The ocean there is beautiful and teeming with fish. One in particular was a large blue grouper that followed us around like a puppy dog the whole time. Was epic.I highly recommend expedition dive and will for sure go again next time I’m back in Australia. 10/10

Expedition Dive Sydney was a fantastic company to do my Advanced Open Water With. The dive dates were very flexible and my instructor Jason gave me really good instructions for me to succeed in all the dives. In the water you may see many ocean species including Blue Groupers, sting rays, octopus, Port Jackson sharks and much more. Highly recommend Expedition dive for dive courses and for guided dives!
