Yarra Valley Cherries
As a self titled cherry addict I cannot say enough about these guys. The quality and flavour of Yarra Valley Cherries is amazing. They are firm in texture and have a rich flavour - nothing bland or boring here! It's an easy drive out to the farm if you want to take advantage of buying direct from the beautiful property in Seville. Try their cold pressed cherry juice too - perfect for Christmas cocktails!

A beautiful drive out through the country to visit Yarra Valley Cherries. The most delicious cherries we have tasted. A definite favourite with the family. It was a lovely way to spend the day, getting to meet the owners and seeing how their cherry farm operates. They sell their cherries for only a limited time until the end of December.

On the last day that the farm gate open (Dec 23). My husband and I travelled nearly 2 hours to the farm gate to buy cherry for my husband’s work colleagues. We bought 3 boxes of 2kg, 2 boxes of 1kg and 1 liter of cherry juice, we spent $220 in total then drove back to city to gift my husband’s colleagues so they can have fresh cherries straight from the farm for their Christmas lunch. But I didn't realise most of the cherries in my box was bad until I opened to wash them on Dec 27, I have to throw most them away as I don’t have time to cut off all the bad spots. We travelled that far and we expected good cherry straight from the farm but if I know the cherries look like that, I don’t think we would gift to my husband’s colleagues as it doesn't make us look good for that.Above from that the rest of cherries were sweet and crunchy. The service was good and staff was friendly.I'm not asking to get my money back or anything, I just want to share my experience.

Hidden Gem of a Cherry farm in the Valley. Well worth picking up a box of Cherries here when you're in the area. The cherries were absolutely plump, firm and delicious and cherry juice was really 100% Definitely top of the list for quality Cherries.

I absolutely loved my experience at Yarra Valley Cherries. I learnt so much about the farm gate process as the staff are all very knowledgeable and welcoming. The cherries are the best quality which is apparent in how long they stayed fresh and delicious once refrigerated.

An Australian-owned small producer of cherries, Yarra Valley Cherries is the ideal destination to go cherry picking, and to discover the beautifully serene countryside of the upper Yarra Valley. Check out their adjoining Farmgate Factory as well, with this only open until the end of December!

We visited Yarra Valley Cherries, an Australian owned, boutique premium cherry grower as part of the cherry season launch event. The farm operates as a commercial orchard (i.e. there is no public cherry picking here) which grows, packs and sells their premium cherries all under the one space. We sampled their 'Merchant' cherries and they were rich and sweet just as their site advertises (on a side note: I couldn't believe we had cherries like these growing in Melbourne; my family have always purchased cherries outside of Victoria claiming they were better but clearly they have not tried these!).Their Farmgate shop opens to the public from November 24th through to the end of cherry season which sells cherries in 1kg punnets, 2kg and 5kg boxes. The farm is also committed to minimising wastage and as a means of achieving that, the shop also sells 100% cold pressed cherry juice in 1L pouches and cherry wood chip from their cherry tree pruning (perfect for smoking white meat we've been told!).

Beautiful tasting cherries with a view. Get to the farm gate when it’s open to grab boxes of cherries.
