I sent an email to cancel my 18 month membership effective the date it was to end. I received a phone call stating that I need to give 30 days notice from the date the contract ends AND they can’t send me the CANCELLATION FORM until my contract ends. AND… I need to call on the day my contract ends to ask for the form to be emailed.They can’t send it any earlier because “it will cause confusion”. This way they get another 4 weeks payments from you.No wonder people get fed up with these types of businesses. This is so frustrating. I would not recommend World Gym Ipswich to anybody if was the last gym in Ipswich.

4 years I went to this place and it’s a rip off for nothing unless you’re self-efficient with your own work out routine. Their cancellation fee policy is garbage and the support person couldn’t confirm I’d still be charged despite after initiating cancellation process, but I knew I was going to be, became that’s how greedy companies run. So those contracts are pointless to sign up for. There’s no loyalty and there’s no bother as at the early part of my sign up I was meant to get a personal trainer but didn’t get a follow up for months but couldn’t be bothered by the time they checked in again. These gyms aren’t everywhere either so if you’re a travelling person, I’d go with another gym. Anyway, $40 to go before they finally cancel my membership a month later.

Good staff,friendly. Plenty of equipment. More than enough classes.Great for getting my cardiovascular back into shape.

Great facilities, lots of sales pressure. I empathise for the receptionists, as I believe management makes these decisions.

I personally have been coming here for a couple of years, initially as a casual Saturday class attendee and became an official member a few months ago. I have always felt welcomed by the staff and love the cafe variety of shakes and treats. Best gym I've been a member of, huge range of machines and lots of spaces to train in. Classes are numerous and high energy with great trainers who guide and support you.

Nice place but pretty shady business practices. Just make sure you read the contract very closely before signing on the dotted line.

Worlds Ipswich is awesome. super friendly staff, great layout and equipment.

Great place to feel motivated, staff are very approachable and accepting to all types of fitness levels.
