Central Fish and chips

Looked forward to going here, we've been twice now and both times the service was always excellent.Unfortunately our food was not. I've found both times we have visited the food we get in the dinner for 2 pack has been extremely oily. The food tastes nice! But the amount of oil leaves you feeling a bit meh afterwards. Tonight I couldn't even get to my fish. I think the baskets need more time to drain or more shaking to reduce the oil.We have heard great reviews about the souvlaki and burgers so we will definitely be back to give these a try.

Great fish and chips. They were getting smashed on Good Friday and had to stop taking orders. We got in early, thankfully. We've ordered food from here several times and it has been enjoyable everytime.

I was starving at work and was very keen for a big meal, i came across central fish n chips here in officer. You’d think a burger at a fish and chip shop would be some ordinary boring dry burger. well not this one. when i got my burger it was the most juiciest thing ive put in my mouth and my missus cant even come close to it. the buns are crisp underneath and soft on top, the patty is thick, juicy and full of flavour, the perfect amount of sauce, and those sweet onions inside had me rolling for more. if this is the quality of the food by one meal so far, then i want to try everything on the menu.the store is clean and modern with a beautiful design really resonating the sea feel though it is far from water.the service is great, the owner is kind and respectful and what i can assume are his kids (boy and girl) can be said the same.so good had to bring my work mate in the next day. wish more food services were like this. but at the same time its better there isn’t, as this place deserves the attention it needs.

Looked forward too trying this fish and chip shop as the reviews were positive. Unfortunately wish I hadn’t. While the portions are good the quality was poor . Chips had a weird oil flavour also under cooked and soggy . Potato cakes worst I’ve ever had . Most of our 50$ order went in the bin .

Definitely my Local now!!!! Tried some of their food over the past couple months, the burgers were amazing. My 3 boys loved them.My son has Uber'd from them on a couple occasions.Fresh, quality produce.My uncle is a Celiac and this place caters soo well for GF people.Thanks for the Easter Hampers

When they first opened the fish was fresh and a decent size. Good size chips as well.Fresh oil. Being good Friday we felt like fish and chips. The potato cakes were pre cooked and refried, they were shriveled up and dry , the chips had an awful oil taste. Fish was pretty ordinary. They have lost my business. But the worst is when you are dealing with food you should be wearing gloves. No gloves, handling food with their hands. YUK !!$$%

Fish (Barramundi and salmon) was very nice. 6/10 potato cakes were burnt outside and the rest of the potato cakes were undercooked inside. The chips were also undercooked and soggy. Some of the fish bites were quite small and have a weird taste. The rest if the food were ok.

Really impressed with our first visit. Have heard lots about this place and was not disappointed. Really happy to see that they have a completely separate area for the preparation of Gluten Free foods and cleaning protocols for the same area, so no cross contamination. Nice thick pieces of fish and the prawns were fantastic.I am coeliac and had no issues so we will be back.Called in today been too long between visits. Thanks again nice to eat takeaway and not have to worry about gluten spoiling the day. Keep it up team.
