Blue Mountains Heritage Motel

Very nice and comfortable rooms. Jack was very helpful throughout and made sure our stay was good.

Annoyingly I’d have given this place a lot higher if not for the fact there are no staff on site at night.We had the fire alarm go off and there was no hint as to what we should do, no staff to check on guests and make sure people were safe and when we tried to use the numbers provided for emergencies they didn’t work.I had to turn the fire alarm off myself once it was established it was a false alarm. I then had to stay up and explain what happened to the understandably miffed fire service.A guest should absolutely not be having to do that.Like I said, but for the glaring safety issue above, a well located and satisfactory place.

Lovely room, warm and clean. The building is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Good experience. Very surprised at the quality of the rooms at such an inexpensive rate. The room was spotless and spacious. Nice bathroom and good ventilation.Convenient location, close to groceries, laundromat and Katoomba central. The staff were very friendly.Only minor downsides were:1) the parking can be a bit difficult if you have a large vehicle.2) if you have a lot of luggage and you are on the top floor you'll need to lug it up three sets of stairs (the staff did offer to help though).3) a lot of light creeps into the room from the bright hall lights (for those who like to sleep with little to no light)

Excellent location, friendly staff and clean, comfortable room. Our heater worked well and the bathroom was clean. Grocery stores and shops are super-close, and the room was stocked with dishes and utensils, so if we wanted to eat in, the option was there.As others have noted, the hotel is close to three sisters, and if you've driven, you can park for free at Echo Point. This makes for an even more convenient starting point for your visit.A bottle of wine was just the cherry on top! We look forward to returning to this great spot.

We had a cozy nice stay in Heritage motel. It is int the Centre of Katoomba a it is so convenient. I will book the same hotel when I am travelling to Katoomba again soon.Not only the room was good but the stufwere so helpfully and super supportive. Stayed in room 3. Noisy, could hear people walking above and snoring next door. Old and tired. Bathroom door did not close properly, shower head would fall out , and you wash hands after toilet in kitchenette sink. Zero house keeping provided for two night stay. Definitely not a three star rating in this day and age. Good location friendly staff.

This motel had a nice sized room with a shower and toilet attached. We had a room with two single beds which I had the best night sleep on of our whole trip which included several hotel motel stops for one night or more. The one downside of this place was that the room we had was in the old part of the hotel and being of a wooden construction and three floors tall meant that you could clearly hear people walking around the floor above at all times of the night.

This place was perfect for usRight in the centre of town and rooms so clean and cosy, basic but a perfect base for us to explore the Blue Mountains and the price is greatThe staff were absolutely amazing! So friendly and helpful, especially Jack, he is a treasure! We will definitely be back and highly recommend if you need a great base to explore Katoomba and surrounds
