Unicorn Seafood Restaurant Kingscliff
Lunch for two at Unicorn, Kingscliff, NSW, for a special anniversary occasion was very nice indeed. Firstly, the restaurant is right across the road from the beach, whilst you don't see much, nice to know it's there. Wait staff was lovely and that certainly makes the visit enjoyable. Then the food. Nicely presented and beautifully cooked. Satisfied and thank you Unicorn.

Unicorn Seafood Restaurant Kingscliff
Had my birthday dinner at Unicorn Seafood last night, a group of 16 people attended. Everyone loved the food and the lobster was unreal.Unfortunately, once we did the cake we had to request for plates and napkins for everyone. We were told there was a charge of $4.50 per plate that is per person.We requested napkins instead, with hesitation they placed on the table 4 cut pieces of napkins for 16 people to have cake. No cutlery included it was extra.Considering a group of 16 people paid a lot of money to have dinner majority seafood there, I’m sure it wasn’t too much to ask for plates and spoons.Not to mention the service was terrible, we were rushed to eat and they were quick to try take our plates away unfinished.Quite unbelievable, won’t be dining there again.

We had an amazing lunch. We both had the lemon Sole and it was cooked to perfection. Could not fault the service.

Absolutely the best restaurant in Kingscliff. We service was great and the meals were top class.It made for a very romantic night.We'll be back again.

The food here is very good and fresh. Staff very friendly. I think a little too pricey at $180 for meals and wine for 2 people.

Absolutely disgusting meal. We both ordered the expensive surf and turf - lobster mornay and steak.The food seemed like old, reheated food. The rice was cold and hard. The lobster shell was basically empty of lobster smothered in a cheese that smelt off.There’s no way they deserve a five star rating. Avoid at all costs!

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner at Unicorn. The table was immaculately set, service very quick and attentive, and the food delicious. Choice of food and wines was good, and prices reasonable. Hard to beat! We can certainly recommend Unicorn.

Enjoyed dinner at the restaurant with nice and accommodating staff. The food was okay, I ordered the pasta and thought the sliced avocado on the side didn't match well. But the octopus entree was nice.

loved our dining experience at Unicorn Kingscliff. It was everything we expected and more. We enjoyed the lobster mornay and the wonderful service. Nice to see a restaurant that actually had linen tablecloths and napkins these days.

Unicorn Seafood Restaurant Kingscliff
Seafood chowder was delicious with fresh seafood and generous serving of seafood too, this was probably one of the best seafood chowders we’ve had in NSW.Ordered the salmon too and that was probably a little well done that I would like, but probably better than what most restaurants put out. Salad/sides with the dish probably wasn’t the best.Seafood meal for one had good items in it, but left wanting a bit more and probably not the best value, probably salmon again here wasn’t the greatest, would’ve been good to know that this dish had salmon too. Bugs were fresh and scallops were good too.
