Pho Kim Long

By far, the best PHO you could have, from the classic and traditional sliced beef noodle soups to the rice dishes and spring rolls, everything is made to perfection cannot fault it what so ever been going there for over 15 years and have never gone to any other pho shop in the area but PHO KIM LONG , they've got a great dine in section with the ability for take away they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, also can't go by there great selection of hot and cold drinks ... thanks guys keep up the quality and deliciousness of your Pho. Really nice pho here. They only offer one size for the bowl and it is massive. Generous toppings esp spring onion. Pickled onions are on the table along with a complete set of pho condiments so you can just help yourself to as much as you like.

So this is supposed to be the best phở in St Albans but it’s never really grown on my family for some reason. The broth is quite different from what we’re used to. It’s definitely tasty, but perhaps too salty and has a bit too much going on. The servings are very generous though.

Long way to travel for Pho. We were told that this was the bees knees of Pho.Ordered 2x Special Beef Noodle Soup(Pho). Yes, the broth is good, it has good “body” and depth of flavour - the pho is good but the pho we have had in Richmond is good enough without the distance plus also like 15-20% more in quantity and quality is good enough. Admittedly - the broth here did have more “body”.The raw beef, beef balls, tripe, tendon, brisket were sliced thinly versus chunks and thickly sliced at other places. Might look like a lot - described as generous by other reviewers but in fact, the overall dish is about 15-20% less in quantity with toppings and noodles - same price. Also, the brisket was a little fatty.Service was friendly and quick. If you like pickled onions with your Pho - you’ll have to ask for it. Not offered unless requested.

Best Pho we have tried in Greater Melbourne!Broth was clear but rich in flavour! Noodles were done perfectly. I added Hoisin sauce and chili and it amplified the taste. I can’t get over it. The serving is huge, too. Enough for two people.The tomato rice and chicken is just okay—I’ve had better (in Sunshine). They served the fopd quickly whoch is great. The real deal is the pho! You gotta try it!The place is jam packed, there was a bit of a wait outside the store. Overall, good experience so will come back again.

This is by far the best Pho place in all of Melbourne Metro. Even better than Richmond. I last came here almost 9 years ago and they are still just as good and the serving size is still the same. The only difference is that back then a medium bowl cost $11 and today it costs $15. That's inflation for you, but still a pretty good price for what you get. I love this place because it seems like only people that know of it's existence will come inside as it sometimes looks closed and it's small. I hate the big places that are packed with people as it's quite intimidating and too many people around bothers me. This place is cozy and comfortable with only a handful of people inside. Still busy but bearable and you don't feel rushed and don't feel like you're being watched. And the menu is really simple and small. I love how they don't have too many things to choose from because that means that they focus on making a few dishes great. If there are too many items then it's hard to make everything good. Quality over quantity is what I believe in.

Pho flavouring on point, tasted like home cooking! Had a regular sized no.7 Special Beef Noodle Soup. Found the meat to be too thinly shaved even with the brisket and there wasn't much meat, mostly noodles and broth. I'll ask next time if they offer double the meat. The pork spring rolls were tasty and decent sized.

Very good and affordable Vietnamese pho. The size is huge and taste very good. There are al different sauces, veggies plate and additional onion to enjoy. The prawn spring roll also very tasty. Come with veggie plate and sauce too. They also have other authentic food, such as fried chicken red rice, etc. Menu is not big, but all authentic menu are inside this restaurant. Their complementary tea is the best ever. Their tea had a very strong flowers smell, which I had never seen in any Vietnamese restaurant before. They uses traditional vietnamese tea leaf to brew. The restaurant size is medium-sized. Few large tables and some small tables. All seating are inside. Staff is very friendly and food come out very quick. This restaurant is very convenient access by public transport. Also plenty of parking nearby.

Highly recommend this place!!!! We had the Special Beef Pho’ and the BBQ Chicken. The broth of the Pho’ has a savoury and aromatic flavour perfect for my liking, and you have to try their BBQ Chicken it was flavoursome. The service was very good too, you don’t wait long for your meal. Cheers
