Mercer & Luck

I had a technician out to diagnose and quote the repair for my leaking dishwasher. They told me I needed a new drain hose and charged $110 for the call out. I never received the quote, so I made three follow up calls over a three week period and was told they were waiting to hear from the supplier. Eventually I got sick of waiting - I Googled the part I needed and found the exact (genuine) part I needed instantly, so I bought it and fixed the dishwasher myself. I'm disappointed with the service I received knowing how easy it was to find the part online. Over a month later and I still haven't received a quote or even a courtesy phone call with an update, but I guess I don't need one now.

I have needed 2 separate appliances looked at over the last couple of years. Each time, I have received very good service. The gentleman who serviced both our oven and dryer, was polite and personable. I would highly recommend Mercer & Luck.

This morning our technician arrived early to repair and install our front loader washing machine. He was quick efficient and very polite. If we need any future work Mercer and Luck will be our go to electrical service.

Have dealt with Mercer & Luck for many years. Have never had any issues with them. Competent staff and they go through as much testing as possible to find the problem of the item.

Dealing with the Mercer & Luck team has been effortless. Upon my call for help they helped me to troubleshoot potential issues and then ordered parts they thouht were going to be needed. This resulted in one call out instead of two or more to get the job done. The team are so helpful and are so genuine. I 100% recommended this business.

My washing machine was not working. So I phoned Mercer and Luck. I spoke with Damon and told him the problem, and he just asked for my washing machine model number. He then put me on hold, he came back from hold, and talked me through the problem and just like that my washing machine was fixed. Such a great guy. Great business would totally recommend them.

Sharp fridge decided to play up just before Christmas. They only had the next morning free to come have a look (Friday 23rd). Guy had a quick look and told me that the circuit needed to be replaced. BUT Mercer & Luck and Sharp would be closed over Christmas and wouldn't open again until after the new year. I mean it's only summer and Christmas, it's not like you need a fridge or anything right? I waited over 2 weeks and when they finally called me they told me they couldn't come install it until Friday 13th January (3 weeks after first looking at it). 3 weeks of no fridge and 35 degree temps is clearly nothing to complain about. Different guy came to install new circuit and barely said a word to me. I waited hours for it too cool down and guess what??? Yep the fridge still isn't working properly. And to make things even better Mercer & Luck are closed over the weekend. I am never buying Sharp anything again. And I am sure as hell never recommending Mercer & Luck to anyone ever.

I have a Speed Queen commercial washer machine which was relatively new. It blew up after moving as we had previously owned a motel. They replaced both the motor & board as it was still under warrentry, this was suggested by Speed Queen in Brisbane as that's who M & L contracted to to do the job in Twb. Apart from the parts taking a while to come because of a bit of a mix up, they came & replaced everything as soon as everything arrived. The young guy that come was quick, tidy & very polite. Can only speak from our experience but both times we have used them they gave excellent service & always informed us to what was going on to the best of their ability.
