Outer Island Surfboards
I have been riding Mitchell's boards since 1990, Only once did I experiment with other well known board makers. These boards were just surfboards but did not have the edge over Mitchell's boards for speed and moves, but I could not get rid of them faster enough to get back onto Mitchell's boards. Outer Island surfboards speak for themselves, way ahead of the rest, no machines all hand shaped by the man himself. Mitchell's boards in the beginning were the future and even now they leap bounds ahead of any other boards that I have ridden since 1971.

I first Bought one of Mitchell's boards back in 1993/4. That first board was a 9'4 and I can ride anything from 1' to 35' with a vertical wall and shred.Unbelieveable. And that is a single fin."
