I loved the cheeseburger.The lady at the counter was very nice and the service was quick.Reasonable prices to be in Leonora.I will surely stop again.

Called into Leonora Monday 2nd may went to The food van with friends. Met the owner and found gluten free menu. So happy to be able to get a lovely toast sandwich. Thanks for making my day normally would end up with nothing . Wish other places would do something for us that cannot eat gluten. If passing this way again will be back to see you.

We stopped by for a quick lunch in town and saw locals walked in and out carrying bags of food. So we gave a go and it was impressive. Meat pies and sausage rolls were delicious. Staff are very friendly.

If you're going to Ballard stop for a snack at this gem of a place. A goldfield trip should include The Food Van. May contain no wheels..

Have read previous reviews and can't believe them. We arrived 20 mts before closing 3pm and in no certain terms were told kitchen closed . Both women were rude and not just our opinion but another couple behind us were treated just as shabily as us. Cafe is spotless and coffee was terrific but wouldn't bother again.

Update: what an awesome and quick reply from the owner. I am stoked & will mention this next time I am through.Customer service will always vary & I appreciate living in a mining town can be rough.Where there is no malice & no mal intent, I would like to think we all show kindness no matter what.Original;Disappointed in the service. Have been coming here for years while travelling for work.I saw the original owner is still out back but her front counter staff are rude to customers.I like to think the best of people, however two visits in two days & not a pleasant experience.I am sure I will be back, however I think I’ll be going to the service station for my coffee in the future.

The hamburger, homemade pie and sausage rolls were delicious. To top it off, expresso was served in fine china.
