Ordered combination vermicelli and beef pho. Both dishes were amazing, one of the best. Tea provided as well. Would certainly dine in again, absolute favourite

One of my favourite DIY rice paper roll joints! The servings are very generous and the sugar cane prawns are massive! We shared the combo dish and some tempura calamari between three and left completely full.

I had the Hu Tieu Xao =flat noodles with gravy".. the sauce had a good flavour and the combination of meats and seafood was really tasty and not overcooked also a nice touch on the table we had a nice array of condiments and sauces they even had thatstinky shrimp paste (mam tom) that I love I will definitely be coming back here"

Thanh Binh Restaurant
Absolutely disgusting. In every aspect. Went to toilets, there was poo everywhere. The food took ages to come out and they got the order wrong. Asked 4 times for extra noodles. That never made it to the table even after we left. Cash only as the eftpos was inconveniently broken. Food was super average, chicken was dry, maybe seemed poorer than it would have been as I was so appalled by everything else.

When my son suggested we should try some Vietnamese food for lunch we decided to go to the best place we could think of for such cuisine- Cabramatta. Looking around the main streets for a suitable place we came upon Thanh Binh Restaurant on John Street. The large number of locals that filled the place around lunch time suggested that this was indeed a popular place among the locals- usually a good sign. The owner was very helpful when it came to choosing the items off the extensive menu. He even advised us to reduce the number of dishes as he felt it would be too much. He was right. Apart from the usual Pho we chose a pork and duck dish with steamed rice. They were fantastic. My son also enjoyed a Durian Smoothie which was fresh and tasty. The only downside was that there was not enough room between tables but only a minor inconvenience. They only accept cash. Definitely worth a visit.

This restaurant is a well known institution in Cabramatta, having been around since 1995. In terms of signature dishes, it’s known for having the best sugarcane prawns wraps (which unfortunately we forgot to try) but also offers a really wide selection on its menu. The beef pho was quite good, definitely authentic, the lemongrass chicken very tasty (although maybe a bit salty), the pancakes were excellent and the rice paper rolls probably the only thing that was average. All in all though it gets full marks for the food and the super efficient service.

As a local, I've been to this restaurant a few times over the past 10 years. It seems like they may have switched chefs since my last visit, and I have to admit, I was a bit let down this time around. While the portion sizes were generous and satisfying, the taste wasn't quite up to par with what I remember. The quality of the dish itself was average, but it did the job of filling me up.Unfortunately, the service wasn't great either - my server got my order wrong initially. On the bright side, the food did come out quickly. Overall, I'd say Thanh Binh is a decent spot to grab a filling meal, but don't expect a gourmet experience. I'm hopeful that my next visit will be better.
