Purrfection Cat Retreat

Leon our ragdoll was treated amazing and you can tell the retreat has been created and run with such passion and care. The place is gorgeous, kept clean and so fun for the kittys. About to return again, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lynn and family for your cats.

Beautiful and clean, lovely space. Very happy to leave our Link there and loved the kitty mail we got while away. Lynn is very welcoming and you can tell she really enjoys taking care of your pet. Lots of little things like writing his name on a welcoming board upon arrival are very nice touches. Would highly recommend.

Went to different cattery's around Newcastle and none came close to what was offered here. While it's a fair drive out, our cats were taken care of and treated like royalty with updates and photos provided multiple days while we were away. The rooms on offer are fantastic and the play room for the cats was spacious and full of stuff for them to do. I highly recommend this cattery and thank the owner for the great job she did.

My 10yr old ginger boy had a lovely stay at the retreat. The facilities were clean and well kept. I received photo updates of how he was going during the stay and he was very relaxed when I collected him.

The perfect retreat for our girls! Lynn was so nice to talk to, friendly accommodating and took perfect care of our two girls.The facilities are brand new with a lot of thought out into the design and layout. Keeping the cats interest in mind with areas to play, look out windows and their own jungle gym to have some private play time.Our girls had a great time and once settled in, it was like a second home. Lynn sent us photos and updates on the welfare of our girls and made sure we were kept up to date with all aspects of their stay.Highly recommended if you’re looking for a perfect retreat for your Furr babies.Look forward to our girls staying with you again!

With the prospect of leaving our 3 cats for over a fortnight, we were hesitant, but once we saw Purrfection Cat Retreat and witnessed the effort Lynn has put into their care we were more than happy. Lynn kept us updated with their holiday, provided all manner of different foods, and was very pleasant and offered many options with their care.The rooms (not cages) are individually designed and the cats were given play and stretch times out of their rooms and also in the playground. Rooms also have views! Lynn & her staff got to know their personalities and showed love and care, gave them cuddles, had observation charts and there wasn't anything we could find that was lacking. Their care was exemplary.We highly recommend Purrfection.

The team at Purrfection Cat Retreat were great with my little fur baby. I was a bit anxious about leaving him somewhere for the first time, but the updates I received from them really helped. He’s quite a nervous cat in new spaces and they did update me that he wasn’t settling in too well, which I appreciated their honesty, and asked me if there was anything they could try, and I love that they kept persevering with him and he eventually warmed up and came down for some pats.Thank you guys so much for taking care of him. Will be back!

My sister and I needed a place for our four cats. And, given our location, we wanted something close by to avoid any stressful long trips.Lynn and her staff were very welcoming and when speaking with them you just knew that they love cats and love what they do.The cattery itself was an amazing place. Everything was new, clean and completely secure. I especially loved all the decorations on the walls. It was all so cute.I felt extremely comfortable leaving my two cats with Lynn. She was so accommodating with their needs, especially of my senior cat, who required medication twice daily.Purrfection was the first cattery my cats had ever been to and they came home happy, healthy, and obviously, very well cared for.Thank you to Lynn and everyone at Purrfection for taking such great care of them!

I had been searching for the perfect place where I could leave my temperamental, highly stressed Russian Blue cat when I discovered Purrfection Cat Retreat. I didn't want to leave her in just your run of the mill catteries.From the moment I made contact with Lynn, I was immediately put at ease by her caring and kind nature and by her fantastic cat retreat! The cat retreat is amazing, just have a look at her website.I booked the Garden Retreat for my little girl mainly because of the window which has a view outside, but it also had beautiful cosy separate sleep areas on various levels, toys to hide in and a scratching tree almost the same height as the room! A really nice personal touch was on the day we dropped off our little girl, there was a welcome board with all of the names of the cats that were checking in that day! It really put us at ease even more!Although my cat behaved poorly, wasn't affectionate, hissed the whole time, stayed in her tree house and refused to eat at the start, Lynn did not give up trying to coax her, pat her and give her full attention! Not many would have persisted, I'm sure and for this we were/are extremely grateful!I would definitely recommend Lynn and her beautiful cat retreat 100%! We hope to book our little girl in again very soon - that's if you will have us back Lynn :-)
