Not quite kids friendly :No proper entry into the water, water is dark and univiting . Won't be good for older people either. Might nice for some people, but for me wasn't worth the drive and a walk with a toddler in my arms.

This is an easy short walk from the car park. It is pleasant at any time, and not much effort. The wild flowers can be brilliant in Spring.
