Dog Friendly Holiday Houses-Coolum Beach

Perfect little jewel of a place, everything a couple with pet could want for a break away. We spent 4 weeks here and found Maureen to be an accommodating and discreet host. Powerpoint in the carport perfect for charging our Tesla!

This was our second stay with our two small dogs at the Treehouse. We absolutely love it there. It is wonderfully situated, just 3 minutes drive from Coolum's many restaurants, and 10 minutes walk from the beach and surfing. The dog beach is a 5 minute drive away. The Treehouse is situated in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, amongst the trees. The lovely large deck has a superb view over the beach looking up the coast for miles. At night you can hear the waves breaking on the shore. It is a perfect, relaxing place to stay. The wifi, TV and all mod cons are provided to ensure guests have the maximum comfort during their stay. Maureen West, the Host, is always extremely helpful and friendly and available if anything goes wrong. We cannot recommend The Treehouse highly enough.

Terrific views, ocean breezes and a gorgeous balcony that feels like its floating in the trees, made this a very peaceful getaway in a calm and quiet location. The street is perfect for dog owners and the loop walk up to the lookout was ideal for our pups. The kitchen is really well appointed and we BBQ'd dinner 2 out of 3 nights here. The Coolum Surf Club was also good for dinner if you get a table outside on the terrace. Maureen was lovely and very helpful to deal with. We would love to return.

This little house is just the right size for the two of us and our dog. The location is great and there are great views from the verandah. The owners provide lots of basics that you need e.g. hand wash, glad wrap, salt, pepper etc which is great. It's not far to anywhere from here, however the drive and parking can be a little tricky, especially when other cars are parked on the street. There is a lovely walk around the top of the hill and nice views of the sunset behind the Glasshouse mountains. You can walk to the beach but it's a steep walk back, depends on your fitness levels. Although we had a great time, even though it was raining a lot, the bed was quite low to the ground and could be more comfortable, springs were a bit evident and noisey, but each to their own. I am a fussy bed person. In saying that, we will still go back for more stays at this little tree house.

Along with our Aussie Terrier, Polly, we have now stayed at COOLUM BOUTIQUE TREEHOUSE on two occasions. The first thing of note is the quietness high on the hill amongst tall trees overlooking the ocean. This property is immaculately clean with all amenties at hand. Even binoculars are provided to view the activities out to sea. How special to wake up and view the northern beaches through the bedroom floor to ceiling windows. also the views from the patio are quite spectacular. Closeness to the beach, shops and restaurants are also handy. We will certainly be returning to this lovely property.Wayne Rene and Polly.

My family and I loved our Christmas break at Maureen's home. The view was beautiful and the sound of the crashing waves so relaxing. Our puppy loved the many dog friendly beaches. My father (78yrs) did struggle with the step driveway and steps but other than that we would highly recommend as a beautiful Coolum holiday home.

We loved our stay at Maureen & Richard's. Their home is beautifully appointed and stylish, with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. It was our first holiday away with our labradoodle and he loved it too. There are numerous dog beaches close by but it's also lovely to spend time at home just enjoying the gorgeous ocean views. We'll be back!

The property was modern and beautifully presented with views so stunning it was difficult to leave for the day's outing at many of the dog friendly beaches. Maureen was an excellent host and our dogs were welcomed . They and we were very reluctant to leave when our week was up.. We will definately be back.

We stayed at the start of December and it was our second stay at the tree house in Coolum. It is such a tranquil, relaxing place to stay, with spectacular views and best of all, our fur baby gets to come along! The property has everything we need for a week away, is a quick walk to the local beach, or a 10 minute walk to the main strip in Coolum. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone with that is looking for a nice place to stay, with a pet (very hard to find!). Thanks Maureen for your hospitality!

Fantastic location & stunning outlook. Beautifully appointed & spotlessly clean.The lack of stairs was perfect for our elderly dog. The dog beach was a big hit every afternoon.Looking forward to a return visit.
