Our son has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder,  ADHD, Generalised Anxiety Disorder and Academic concerns. We were highly recommend to Janina and the team at Flying Colours. Our son was finding school incredibly hard. He was quiet behind on his reading and writing. In the past 18months, his teachers at school and us at home have seen such a huge improvement, with not only his academical learning but with his confidence. To see our son sounding out sentences and words, to be able to read his own handwriting, have excitement to go to school and to have the confidence to converse with his peers and ask questions, has many times left us in awe.Megan, has such a gentle and patient approach while Janina is incredibly approachable ,very supportive and all round amazing

3 years ago my daughter was diagnosed with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and dysgraphia. As a parent I was completely lost on how to help my child. Term 3 of 2020 we found flying colours for math and the improvement I have seen in my daughter is amazing. Today I am so proud to say that we have completed a new assessment with her clinical psychologist and she is no longer diagnosed with Dyscalculia( math form of dyslexia). This amazing outcome is thanks to the hard work of her tudors at flying colours. Janina, our family can not thank you and your team enough. We have now commenced literacy with flying colours and I am confident we will see amazing results like we have with her math. Ava loves coming to tutoring, she walks in smiling and willing BUT she walks out laughing and full of confidence. You offer her so much, that not even I can offer. We feel so blessed and honoured that we found Flying colours. Thank you.

My daughter started going to Flying Colours at the start of Year 6, she is now at the end of Year 7. She was struggling with Maths, and was getting left behind in class as her muscle memory for times tables was not good, she was self-conscious and too scared to try anything in class for fear of failure or being laughed at. Realising we needed to boost her confidence and ability with Maths prior to heading into High School I sought out recommendations on tutors. Flying Colours was highly recommended to me. Through our journey, COVID-19 struck, lock-downs occurred, and online learning became normal. Whilst Flying Colours navigated a completely foreign concept, they continued to put the students needs first, and worked quickly to adapt their lessons online. Slowly, my daughter was starting to 'click' with her maths. Her tutors, Janina, Barb and Jade were amazing. In Term 4 of Year 6, she was diagnosed with Irlen Syndrome, which explained a lot of her concentration issues. Irlen Syndrome is a visual processing disorder. It can cause concentration issues and physiological symptoms such headaches and fatigue. Along with her new tinted glasses lenses, and the wonderful tutoring from Flying Colours, my daughter has grown in confidence, and is succeeding at school. Whilst she is not always getting high results in her math assessments, she showed a marked improvement in her NAPLAN achieving band 8 for her Year 7 test. Without Flying Colours, this would not have been possible! As my daughter has now caught up, is succeeding in class and is able to achieve good results in her math work, she is ready to move on. We will be continuing on with Flying Colours for English in the coming year, to help grow my daughter's confidence in writing, grammar and paragraph structure. I couldn't recommend Flying Colours highly enough.

Thank you to all the staff at Flying Colours for sticking with it for our 3 children over the last few years. The results last year were a reflection of the dedication and commitment of Janina and her team during a tough year for all. Flying Colours will be a part of our family for years to come and is providing a foundation for learning that can not be understated.Thank you!!
