Northern Skin

One week ago I had PDT ( photo dynamic therapy) at northern skin studio. The staff were very supportive, Kim and Rachel , the nurses helped me endure the pain. Laughing gas helped. Today I look great. Amazing what a week makes.

Absolutely in love with this place. I have had problems with acne for years and since I started seeing Allison a couple of months ago, she has completely transformed my face with extractions and LED light therapy thus far. I couldn't be happier with the service Allison, Dr Monique and the other ladies have provided me.

I recently had the pleasure of receiving two skin treatments from Alison and I can confidently say that she is amazing! She tailored my treatments according to my specific needs and concerns, and the results were nothing short of impressive. In just one visit, my skin was noticeably clearer and more radiant.What I appreciated most about Alison was her honest approach to skincare. Unlike many other places, she didn't try to sell me a bunch of expensive products that I didn't need. Instead, she focused on providing me with the best possible treatment to achieve my desired results.The experience was incredibly refreshing and left me feeling more confident in my skin. I highly recommend Alison to anyone looking for someone who is skilled and honest, and who truly cares about their clients. You can tell Monique is extremely passionate about what she is doing. She is amazing at analysing the face and knowing what is good and will work for your individual needs. Her explanations are clear and I like her approach of less is more. Lovely and friendly staff.

Northern skin studio is the most complete and modern skin care centre in Townsville, they have the most up to date tech and everyone was super helpful. I had a skin cancer cut from my arm that was quite epic and the job they did was amazing and the scarring was minimal. Add that to a very in depth clinical list of treatments they offer and I won't go anywhere else again. They may be hard to get into but the wait is worth it!!!! 5 stars

Absolutely fabulous. From the moment you walk in to the time you finish your appointment the customer service is excellent.

Not impressed. Person dealing with the public could not give details about the products and services. And refused to find out when asked. She said I would have to come in and find out myself - when it was something I needed to know to compare with others to decide if I would come in at all. Then she got patronizing. And it turned out that the limited information she was giving me was incorrect.

I was upset when I arrived for my appointment as I was struggling moving to a new town and being alone and the receptionist told me as I was upset the specialists refused to see me and I would have to reschedule. They shoved the rescheduled appointment in my hand and I admit I wasn’t organised noting the new time but I unintentionally missed my 2nd appointment and received a phone call the minute after my missed appointment to be told I would be charged a $100 cancellation fee. I understand this is policy and apologised profusely and asked why they didn’t call me when I hadn’t arrived by my appointment time as I was 5 minutes up the road and was told by the receptionist ‘they don’t do that’ and ‘they have been lenient to me’. I’m disgusted by this lack of compassion and customer service when all I wanted was help with my pigmentation. I did the right thing paying my cancellation fee but I technically should have billed the specialists as they cancelled on me first! I have now spent thousands of dollars at Silk Laser and have told everyone I know how I was treated. I am leaving this review so I hope the specialists and the receptionist don’t treat another lady like this again.
