Kyneton Veterinary Hospital

Would not recommend. I just wanted to buy dog food. There was a girl sitting behind the desk but she did not acknowledge me or even look up to serve me. The place was empty. I finally asked if I could buy the food. She looked at me, simultaneously the phone rang and she answered it. A man was in the other room adjacent with the door open able to hear the whole conversation, I assume a vet/owner. I asked if he could help. He did so begrudgingly. Me buying dog food was a huge hassle for these people.The whole experience ended with him sneezing literally all over my change! I needed that dog food. I would have never given them my money had I not. But I will never go back.

No reply to a call. I will now take the animals to a castlemaine vets

The vet....Leigh Coghlan ....is one of the most caring veterinarians l have ever met. He really listens to you & the love he gives your pet really is so lovely, any advice that is needed, he is always there to give. I am so lucky to have him looking after my animals.

Yet another Kyneton business who don't care about providing a professional service. I rang to book an appointment, lady answered phone but was having a conversation with someone in the background. 10 seconds later answers my call while eating (audible, loud chewing noises heard). I ask about booking in a pet, lady says so and so has broken his arm" (I'm still unsure what this statement means).......but you can still book it in......I ask when........lady has no idea....I hang up

Unfortunately my dog was mistakingly put on double the recommended dose of heart medication (Vetmedin/Cardisure) for 12 months.My new vet noticed immediately and she has since gone back to the right dose for her size.I also really struggled to make bookings there, they need a different person answering phonecalls or an online booking system. The last call I made to book an appointment, the receptionist asked if I wanted to be Facebook friends (!!).They really were nice there but I just prefer a higher level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Absolutely disgusted in Leighs response to my email! I reached out asking for help as I have two cats and one that needed attention. I chose kyneton veterinary hospital because of reviews and their staff is animal-loving staff! Leigh suggested I go to romsey as it was much closer. I have a few family and friends in kyneton with furbubs and will ask them to take their business to romsey!

Our dog just loves the vet Leigh. She sits and waits for him to come out for her turn, then in she trots and up on to the table. Couldn't get a better recommendation!Our dog still loves Leigh, she comes along when ever we go with one of the other pets and happily hangs around just to say hi.

Great vet really knows his stuff.Fantastic friendly service at reception.All staff are always friendly.

Had bloods taken for my cat Wednesday morning, called 3 times Thursday for result, no reply. Called again Friday morning only to be told I have tried calling you a few times. No missed call from vet on my phone. Finally ask vet what the results were and am told oh I really couldn't see much, so maybe give some antibiotic for 10 days. If no improvement come back.Sorry I would not recommend this vet. $340 for a check up then $49 for antibiotic, do not recommend
