Sydney Potts Point Central Hotel
Jeremy and his team are amazing. They treat you like you are part of their family. I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and it was always lovely to come back to the hotel from a busy workday to a smile and a chat with Jeremy.Yes, Rooms are small however so is the building, rooms are clean and well maintained. Most comfortable bed I have slept in. Free laundry facilities and a lovely roof top area on level 4 are a bonus

Hi.Good location. Great terrace. I found blood stains on my duvet on the first evening of my stay. I text the out of hours number in the morning and called the gentleman on my return to room in the evening. He said the mobile does not accept texts and that the duvet has been cleaned, they just didn't have any napisan (cleaning agent) so could not get the stains out. I did not feel comfortable or clean staying there and hope this feedback helps improve. Happy to share photographs if needed. Regards Phil

Sydney Potts Point Central Hotel
We stayed here a couple nights and it suited our needs well. The rooms were the perfect size for what we were looking for and there's access to a rooftop terrace that was a nice treat. We were accommodated well and staff were pleasant. Quiet space on the terrace is highly valued and there were a wide variety of people staying here when we visited. Overall, 5 stars from me!

Sydney Potts Point Central Hotel
Came here to stay in November last year, was staying in an underground room and noticed a few cockroaches in the kitchen.I booked 4 months in advance and asked for a room with a view, however I got a room that had no view.The guy at the front was friendly when I asked to change rooms they couldn’t. I would recommend to call prior to staying to make sure you’re not in an underground room as it made an impact on the stay.

We've been burgled!My wife and I flew to Sydney for our honeymoon. The hotel we stayed at was called Sydney Potts Point Central Hotel. After two weeks of our stay, we noticed that money had been stolen from our room. Unfortunately, we didn't carry our wallets with us since we exclusively used Apple Pay for payments. However, we had concealed our money in the room we rented. It remained in the same place throughout our entire stay, and we never took it with us on any day. When we discovered the theft, our suspicions turned towards the cleaning team. The rooms are cleaned on different days, specifically once a week, while only the trash is removed daily.As soon as we realised we had been robbed, we immediately approached the building manager. Regrettably, his response to the entire incident was highly unsatisfactory. After informing him about the stolen money, he showed no interest whatsoever in the amount of money or how the incident could have occurred. His nonchalant attitude and complete lack of willingness to help left us feeling helpless. The next day, we approached the manager again to inquire whether he had initiated an internal investigation among his employees to gather more information. He merely informed us that he had asked the cleaning team if they knew anything about the theft, and that was the extent of his efforts. He claimed to trust the cleaning team and insisted that our only course of action was to involve the police since he couldn't do anything further.After going to the police station and providing our statements, we received no emotional support from the manager. We tried to determine when the incident could have occurred. The only day when our room was completely cleaned was on Wednesday. However, when the manager checked the documents to determine when his employees conducted thorough room cleanings, he couldn't establish it due to his documents being haphazardly thrown into a shoebox. After several minutes of searching for the relevant document, he reluctantly confirmed that the cleaning took place on Wednesday. But later, when we demanded his involvement in the entire incident and a proper investigation with his employees, including documenting their statements on paper, the manager informed us that he had received an SMS from one of his cleaners stating that the cleaning had occurred on Thursday. This raises the question of what he actually saw in the document that records the cleaning days of his employees.After futile arguments with the manager, he ultimately told us to F… off.Unfortunately, following the entire incident, we were forced to move to another hotel, which ruined our entire day as we searched for a new place to stay.The only positive aspect from the manager was that he allowed us to stay for one night free of charge while we looked for another place.When we were already at the new hotel, we received a call from the police informing us that an investigation had been launched and that this manager and hotel were well-known to the police department. We were informed that this was not the first complaint they had received, and in previous cases, the manager had also been very uncooperative.Unfortunately, we did not recover the stolen money.

Sydney Potts Point Central Hotel
It is a great place to stay. Very central, the rooms are great - modern, clean and well apointed. The kitchen is well done and the whole thing is good value. Make sure all the keys work. When I was there they had a problem with the keys for joint rooms but, apart from that small thing, it is a little gem.

Gerry was fantastic and tried his hardest to help in anyway.Sadly the young receptionist was less helpful and not very efficient, however experience may improve her skills.Location was good with Shops, Food & Transport nearby.The only 2 things that brought the stars back on rooms & service were the late cleaning causing us to get our rooms well after 3pm (no top ups of body wash and missed details in 1 room) & the broken down air/con that failed over the weekend resulting in 2 days of warmer rooms.Will certainly try to get back there again as it was a great place to stay overall.

Great location. Huge number of dining locations and well situated for visiting the city.Superb roof terrace with extensive city views.Merry and his team are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are well appointed..My go to accommodation when visiting Sydney

Sydney Potts Point Central Hotel
We have had to stay often because of medical appointments nearby. Always welcomed and taken care of. Lots of great eating places just a short walk away. Great views from some rooms as well as the common area.
