First day in Beechworth & first stop for lunch on a Sunday. Was not extremely busy. Easily found a seat outside. They cater to all your basic/classic tastes. We had a ham salad roll & schnitzel wrap. I was looking to take a number when I entered, as it was busier inside and it did not seem to have any line order. We just approached the front & blended in & made our way to the counter.Returned another day & got a salad sandwich. Sandwiches are small. Not much to them taste wise. It felt very cold too. Not sure if they get frozen or just kept in a very cold fridge. Restrooms available upstairs. There’s also more seating upstairs.

Coffee is very nice, everyone likes Ned Kelly pie, A must try one. Vanilla slice is so yummy, I like the custard, so moisture and creamy. Apple turnover is nice too, creamy donuts got too much cream in it. After having vanilla slice and apple turnover, feel too much for creamy donuts. Should order sth less cream.

Stopped in for breakfast, friendly atmosphere and service. The Ned Kelly pie was great and the bee sting was excellent, coffee was okay but still the best we had in the area to be fair. Would definitely stop in again next time we're in the area, keep in mind it does get pretty busy over long weekends etc, we avoided it on the Sunday and came back the next day when it was quieter

I bought a Pepper pie and Steak & mushroom from here at 2pm on a Monday and Thursday of the same week and both had undercooked pastry on the bottom. If was if they were running short after the lunch rush and took them out of the oven to soon. I had the Caesar salad wrap on Tues & Wed and whilst it tasted really good there was a HUGE amount of lettuce bulking it out. Needs more actual filling for the price charged ($12.50). Overall quite disappointing.

Stopped in for breakfast and ordered a toastie after reading the great reviews, but it was honestly just okay. Coffee was good, and the bee sting was delicious so I would definitely recommend that!!

Though it comes with a lot of hype (and a line that snakes out the door about 20 metres), the pies and pasties are definitely good, but not mind blowing. Their toasties made on their own sour dough bread though are amazing.Plenty of seating upstairs if you can't find a table downstairs.

It's one of the best bakery's I've been to across Australia. Amazing selection of dessert and pastries to choose from, plus the Pies and sausage roles are second to none. The store has a great atmosphere with fantastic service! It's definitely worth visiting if you get the chance!

They say you have to stop by the Beechworth Bakery for a Ned Kelly Pie, we did more than stop by, we sat in. Unbelievable experience and one for the memory book. Mates, pies and coffees. You can't beat it. The service was good and the pie was to die for. 10/10 recommend on your road trip or daily commute.
