Wow, if you want delicious cakes, cannoli, gelato and a decent Italian meal this is the place to come to. There are so many choices you get lost, it thought. It was very busy on a Friday night but you know why. The staff are run off their feet, and if you want to sit for dinner, it's best to book, but take away is easy enough with a little wait. You could see the owner/ manager was getting slightly frustrated with people just standing around blocking the wait staff. It is best to order and wait outside to give them room to move freely. But honestly, their desserts are amazing. We'll return for sure. Parking in this area is limited so if you don't get it early you will have to walk a bit of a distance which isn't bad when the weather is good but when it's raining and freezing cold can be a headache. This is for any restaurant in this precinct.

Updating my review as the quality has declined to a huge extent. Tried a couple of cakes and bread was so hard that we couldn’t finish as obviously it was really old. I think the place is not as good as it was before. Not trying from here anymore as there are better places with fresh desserts.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hot chocolate is smooth and creamy. Pistachio Mango Mousse is yummy. Highly recommended

We love Via Dolce and visiting has really elevated many Canberra afternoons. The coffee and food are great and the deserts and cakes are fantastic. My partner enjoyed this spectacular unicorn coffee.

Wow! Isn't this a little gem in Canberra? What a quaint classic Cafe. The pastries were delicious and a perfect way to end a night with a hot tea and some delicious donuts and dessert!

Pizza was great, customer service was also goodSecond visit: had iced chocolate and cake and earl grey tea which were really good. Cheesecake was nice but too sweet for me

Nice cakes. And coffee. Was sitting down watching the pizza guy make pizza. And throwing the dough over his hands and arms with hairy arms. Made me scared to try there pizza. How ever there breakfast is supper yummy, someone times it can be a little slow for food.

I ate breakfast with alife bug and paid for it 80$+Drove all night from Melbourne, was so looking forward for tasty and delicious food!The biggest disappointment this place is! My toast was soggy, tasted odd, and, the cherry on top" was discovery of the bug. I went straight to the staff
