Recently visited this gem on a trip to Sydney. What a fabulous shop! The grass fed beef is amazing, I am now a complete convert to grass fed beef! If I lived in Sydney I would have bought sooo much more the selection is fabulous. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. When are you guys opening in Queensland?

Excellent quality meat, but today I walked away with more than I wanted and discussed (twice) with the salesperson - because it was the end of the piece of meat. At $80 a kg, I wasn’t so keen on the final price and left feeling like I was on the poor end of the deal. I’ve shopped here before and am aware it’s on the more expensive side - but for good quality meat. Today’s experience was very unfavourable.

The service here is always helpful and prompt, I just struggle to understand the pricing with their products as I find similar flavours or cuts elsewhere providing similar flavours and textures at a lower price point.

I’m sorry but this place is taking the veritable piss. On all levels. I asked for a good small (small!) cut of guanciale, and I ended up with 2nd grade pancetta. I bought a (1”) slice pork terrine style pâté and a tiny (effing tiny) pack of Orita anchovies. How much ? $60!!! My fault. I was distracted and simply paid. Once home I saw the prices. $27 for the pâté. $16 for the 4 (!) anchovies and you can do the maths on the pancetta.This place is totally pants, and if you think you’re too rich to care then you also have no taste as the food is meh. Appalling cheek.

We shopped frequently at the Surry hills when it was open we now pop over to Mosman.Love the whole experience quality is excellent, staff are great always happy to help with cooking suggestions. Great variety of products in store. Highly recommend.
