Wow! What a GREAT experience today at Sydney tools Paget!. You little beauty, I am absolutely stoked by the high quality and dedicated staff today. I can't say enough nice things about this company, I was greeted with the biggest smile from the boys as I walked in and straight away I had help to pick out my drill bits that I needed. I also was given a free 2 way stubby screw driver kit as it didn't have a barcode. I absolutely love this store and it's excellent customer service, Great job Sydney tools.

My Fiance had Been waiting almost Two months now for his petrol genie. We were told two to three weeks for delivery now each time we call in its sorry we have no idea when we will give you a call and let you know what's happening". NOT ONCE has anyone called to keep him updated he is always the one following it up. Very poor service and communication"

Very pi$$ poor customer service.I walked in and asked a staff member at the front counter if they had a specific tool, to which they were confused as to what it was. He then told me, without checking what is and if they did stock it or could order it in, we definitely don't have that

Amazingly large range of tools, staff were very friendly and helpful.

My partner and I went to Sydney tools a couple of times as he was stocking his work trailer. One of the staff members, Zac. Was very helpful. My partner was able to find exactly what he needed quick with zacs help and also he explained the pros and cons and everything we needed to know before purchasing. He was super friendly but professional which made my partner want to continue coming in here for his tools over somewhere else. Being two people that have worked in the customer service industry we were very impressed with his customer service skills and friendly approach. We will both happily shop here again in hopes to keep being served by Zac

Was looking for a big generator for my father for house backup. Local places wouldn't take a cheque. Spoke to Zach Franklin in the Mackay shop and he made it happen, no worries at all. Great service and also price matched without a hassle. Would happily recommend.

Ordered tools online with Sydney tool, then got an email saying more than one item wasn’t it stock and I had to wait until the ETA, which was 10 months later. Rang the head office in Sydney multiple times and was told it had been forwarded to one of the stores to complete my order and that the store would ring me later that day, if not they would email me. This was 2 weeks ago now. Still no phone call or email. Extremely poor customer service. Will not be buying anything from Sydney tools again

Purchased an item online as click and collect. Online said item in stock. Shortly recieved a phone call from store saying item is not in stock and I would recieve a call when it was. (Item purchased and fully paid for on 17th May and cost over $1000) after 3 weeks, gave the store a call, was quickly palmed off saying it would be in next week on a Wednesday. Called the next week on a Wednesday, again quickly palmed off told it would be in the next Thursday. Called today and again palmed off told it would be in next week. My partner went into store this afternoon and was given no help. Called the offices in Sydney and hoping to get some help from them. Hoping to actually get our item, but after this purchase if we get it, we will not be spending anymore of our money here, will probably go around the corner to total tools. 28th June update. After us calling again, we have been advised they cannot give us an eta of the goods we have fully paid for.

The Paget branch is fantastic. Click and collect orders are put together extremely fast and when something is not in stock, we have been given other options. Great communication, and great service from the Assistant Manager whom orders are placed with. We will continue to use them as one of our suppliers.

Tried to purchase Milwaukee power tools during trade night only to be told due to a very small price drop on the tool, even though still worth 1000s, it was ineligible for any bonus. I still decided to go ahead and purchase, when at the counter the item scanned up for more than the displayed and postered price. I was then told that i would have to pay the computer price as the displayed and brightly postered price must be wrong. I proceeded to request that i only be charged the displayed price as it is what is being advertised and should be honoured, i was told then that it was not store policy and i had to pay the higher price. I mentioned to the 2 staff members that this was strongly against consumer law and they are obligated to honour the displayed price, only for them to quickly remove the posters and refuse. I will be reporting this stores actions and never shopping from Sydney tools again. Disgusting customer service and extremely poor business management. Id suggest to everyone, stick with shopping at Total tools Mackay.
