Surfboard Empire Nobbys

Asked for board/equipment recommendations for a Mentawais surf trip, was told the Pyzels were super strong. Bought two Pyzels and a Lost groveler board. The Pyzel 'Shadow' creased all the way across the top on my fourth wave riding it in 4 foot surf. The Lost Radripper acquired a large pressure ding on my second surf. The FCS Freedom Helix' leggie (l was recommened as the 'best' leggie on the market by the staff) simply came undone at pumping Greenbush leaving my poor Ghost Pro to tumble over the rocks and ending my session. After examing the glassing on these boards, they are incredibly thin and weak. Amazing boards performance wise but very lightly glassed. Perfect for pros who are sponsored but for the consumer market they have no longevity. Since then everyone l have spoken to regarding Surfboard Empire have had similar experiences. After spending over $3500 you'd expect a bit more or at least some honestly about the glassing. It's putting a very bad name to such great boards like Pyzels. l contacted Surboard Empire, the best they could do was offer $100 off my next surboard purchase. l wouldn't recommend this store even unto my worst enemy.

Surfboard Empire's customer service is great. Any questions regarding dimensions, recommended products to suit a set up or yourself, ordering process, custom orders.. they are very helpful and knowledgeable.I have received a board. It was perfectly shaped, no damage and came with a free board bag.I'm going to order a second board soon. I have no doubt it will come in perfect condition and within the time period estimated.Thank you Surfboard Empire.

After an initial glitch in terms of the way my board was packaged and delivered, the customer servlce rep. (James) went above and beyond to keep me informed and to resolve the initial problem speedily resulting in a very saisfactory and relatively seamless shopping experience. This was very important for someone unable to visit a retail store.I'd be confident and happy to shop online with Surfboard Empire in the future.

Staff were very friendly and super helpful when deciding on a new surfboard. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting to buy a new board. Special thanks to Sebastian, Matt and Drew for helping me out!

popped in to have a browse, left with a board. these guys are a bunch of freaking, legends!! chillest staff you’ll ever meet, always happy to help and chat away about surfing. Drew was there to assist , the entire time, never felt pressured into buying anything. they’ll throw in discounted fins, free grip & wax, even got to pick a free jumper., this store is stocked up with that much surf gear, it’s ridiculous.10/10 boys, surfboard empire is deadly!!

Fantastic after sales support on a board that had suffered damage during shipping. The board was replaced lightning fast and James was super helpful and supportive all the way. A good product is great but good after sales support...just in case....is hard to find these days.

Great Service, great shipping to WAI recently bought my son a board from surfboard empire to be shipped to WA. James looked after the online order and was brilliant. Board arrived in WA on time and in perfect nick due to their excellent shipping system. Couldn't be happier , well done guys.
