First ever jazz bar experience and was overall a good one with lovely live music. The service was pretty damp and didn’t fit the atmosphere and the cold meat platter tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a week.

Saw an excellent band called Zuzu here the other night. It's a really cute venue with nice food and friendly staff (if a little disorganised). Would definitely recommend for a chill night out!

Appalling. Overpriced and incredibly pretentious. Bad food, dull music, bad vibe. Unable to make a cocktail. 5 limp prawns serve on a bed of limp lettuce. Cheapest cut of stringy Porterhouse steak served with cold, raw vegetables. And talking at the bar while players playing is prohibited. No fun. Do not go.

First time at this venue this past weekend to watch a friends band play. Really great place - intimate setting with good atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

There’s nothing like live music! Foundry 616 is a cozy little jazz club, perfect for a meal, a glass and some live music. Many have forgotten what it feels like experiencing the energy in the room of a bunch of live musicians. Exhilarating! Highly recommended! Enjoy!

Great venue, grest show by Virna Sanzone, attentive staff alround fun enjoyable night. One suggestion. Ask customers:audience to put away their mobile phones during a performance- the six women in the front row spent more time on their phones than watching and listening to the performance. Irritating and disrespectful to the artist.

Went here last Saturday night. The performers weren’t my cup of tea but it might be worth a return on another occasion to see if there is anything better on offer. Other than the cool jazz paintings the decor doesn’t really give a jazzy vibe. Chairs are uncomfortable and the staff aren’t the best either. Hopefully they improve as the jazz scene in Sydney isn’t the greatest.

Dinner here was a disaster, they took our order and on two seperate occasions about 20min later they told us they were out of the the meals some of us ordered. We ordered at 8 and got our food at 9:20pm...They also got our bill wrong and charged us for the meat platter they offered on the house. With drinks, they did not come unless we followed them up, do yourself and favour and eat elsewhere.The music at least was very good !
