Can't recommend Tara highly enough!Our daughter is 4 years old with complex needs. These include a diagnosis of Global Developmental Delay, dyspraxia and apraxia of speech.Her issues were picked up early so she has been doing therapy from a very young age and over the years we have seen a number different therapists in the quest to find the right team to work with our little girl.From a speech perspective our search is now over.We have been working with Tara now for only a few months but we haven’t looked back. As a speech therapist, she is amazing. She is bright, energetic, fun, passionate and extremely engaging. Since starting with her, our daughter has made a number of huge gains including significant improvements in her eye contact, focus, play skills and receptive and expressive language skills.With our daughter they keys to this success have been Tara’s exceptional skills in identifying the foundational deficits in her cognition and communication abilities as well as the sensory needs that have been holding her back. As such, she has developed numerous targeted exercises to help address and rectify these. Tara has drawn on her extensive experience working with Occupational and Physiotherapists to do this, so these exercises offer our daughter the perfect blend of sensory input, movement and learning opportunities for her to improve not only her communication skills but also her abilities to socialise, focus and learn.Tara takes on board all our feedback and concerns as she develops her programs for our girl and also consults with her Occupational, Physiotherapists and childcare educators to exchange ideas and feedback so that all members of our daughter's team are able to collectively achieve the best possible outcomes for her.We feel that Tara truly cares about her clients and is fully committed to helping them achieve their fullest potential. Her passion shines through in her work ethic which you pick up on right away. We are so glad we have found her and we really can’t recommend her highly enough.

I had a brain aneurysm rupture that affected my speech. Tara worked with me for several months to get me straightened out again. She was so great to work with, patient and knowledgeable about the goals set me for and what I needed to do to get there. She wouldn't let me give up. I highly recommend her as a speech therapist.

Tara has been life changing for our daughter Lily who has speech apraxia. After only a few sessions she was making more progress than years of therapy elsewhere. Lily is now able to talk, using all blends which other speech therapist's said she would never do. We travel up from Melbourne whenever we can to see Tara. She is very flexible with seeing Lily as much as she can while we are there. Her dedication to her clients is amazing. You wont look back once starting speech therapy with Elite Speech, we just wish we found Tara sooner!

As we live interstate our daughter Lily does online Skype sessions with Tara and Tyler weekly. Even I was bit skeptical about how this would work. Honestly it has been amazing, Lily continues to make so much progress, the sessions are fun too. Especially during these uncertain times, isolation and social distancing this provides the perfect solution. I highly recommend trying Skype sessions with Elite Speech!!!
