Chinese Village Restaurant
I've eaten here twice during my stay and each time the food was Superb. This is where the locals eat and now I know why. It doesn't look like much from the outside - but don't be fooled. The staff are attentive and polite. Definitely 5 stars!

This is a nice restaurant, I have been here a few times and each time the food is consistent, reasonably priced and well organised. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They do both eat in with BYO alcohol and takeaway. While there both options appeared to be popular for a Tuesday night. The food was nice and tasted fresh. We will for sure come back again. Wheel chair accessible and Al are welcome.

Authentic Chinese restaurant with perfect Chinese aura and ambience and great food, the serving size is also good with very reasonable prices!!!! Must try their hot and sour soup!!

The only good thing I like was the soup with dumplings. Over the top with the salt in the meals. I went to the restaurant on Saturday night.

I love the ambience in these restaurant. A good ace to eat chinese food. The serving is huge, price is reasonable.

Chinese Village Restaurant
It's like stepping back in time when you visit this old style Chinese restaurant that still has carpet on it's walls. The menu if Australian style Chinese dishes that was on the typical menu of restaurants of this ilk in the 70's and 80's. We thoroughly enjoyed the Szechuan Prawns, Sizzling Beef and fried rice we had during our visit. All the dishes were mighty tasty and staff were friendly and attentive.

The restaurant was half full on a Tuesday night so it was somewhat popular.We ordered hot and sour soup, a large special fried rice, Szechuan beef and stir fried vegetables for the 2 of us.The hot and sour soup tasted a bit strange as they had used some leftover pieces of fried chicken as the protein for the soup.The rest of the item were fairly average and the best thing was their chilli paste which tasted home made and lifted the flavour of everything (albeit a tablespoon of that incurred a $2 additional charge). Portions were on the small side so what we ordered was good for us.

Chinese Village Restaurant
Unable to get a table so opted for takeaway. The ladies on counter were very helpful and provided good service, the food was a good example of standard Chinese meals. The environment loomed dated but clean. A solid place to get fed.
