Whilst in Melbourne I stayed at ParkSide Stay in Clifton Hill, Melbourne. Not knowing Melbourne well (being a German tourist) I didnt know the area of Clifton Hill where ParkSide Stay is located. My worst fears of the unknown were quickly changed. It was a great area to stay and explore Melbourne. There is fabulous public transport close by, trains and trams and the city CBD is very close to the apartment. Clifton Hill is an interesting city suburb....Queens Pde the local shopping precinct has an interesting array of shops and eateries.The apartment was very comfortable and I enjoyed very much the experience of staying in a modern, well furnished apartment. The King size bed was super comfortable and the living area was delightful as it looks out to an enclosed private courtyard garden which I enjoyed eating my breakfast in.Wendy the host was friendly and provided us with a lot of local information which made our stay even more enjoyable.I loved being able to walk to so many excellent bars, music venues and restaurants......Melbourne I had been told was famous for its restaurants and cafes and ParkSide Stay is well located to all of Melbourne's wonderful attractions.I hope to visit Melbourne again and will certainly be staying at Wendys Home, ParkSide Stay. I highly recommend this apartment to those travelling to Melbourne!

I had the pleasure to stay here for two weeks. I am used to stay in self served apartments so it was the right choice...beside the fact that I loved the lite but tastefully chosen furniture and paintings. If that is the kind of living one likes, it couldn't be better. Not too much but enough to be surrounded by beautiful things.I enjoyed the combination of staying in a very calm, green environment (jogging, riding a bike...) and the easy way into the inner city.As a traveler from Europe not knowing Melbourne at all Ms. Teltscher was the perfect host. She is a very good guide and helped me with every information needed for making the best out of 14 days in a foreign city. If you are looking for a self served apartment without being left completely alone with a foreign environment this is the right place to stay.

I stayed at ParkSide Stay , Clifton Hill whilst in melbourne for business: The apartment was well beautifully furnished, well maintained and very clean: the apartment is modern, has loads of sunlight beaming in through the large windows and so well located to melbourne cbd. The apartment sits on parklands and is quiet for sleeping yet very close to some great restaurants, bars, and public transport.the owner who lives seperately upstairs with her sweet friendly doggie was very imformative, friendly and welcoming.Having a vehicle car parking was excellent immediately outside the front of the apartmentI would recommend ParkSide Stay for business or pleasure and next time i will be coming with my partner and doggie to stay

I live in country victoria and often need to come to melbourne for business or other.When in melbourne I stay at ParkSide Stay... this is my home away from home.I have found Wendy the owner to be very welcoming, pleasant, and courteous. The apartment is beautifully appointed alongside parklands which is great as I enjoy running.I have read some of the comments and criticisms for e.g. ones privacy has been invaded, notes have been left etc I find these comments quite strange. I have no criticisms but praise for both the apartment and the management of her apartment.My experience over the past 12 mths has been positive and Wendy also clearly states in her policies what is expected of guests. for e.g. pls open windows and take shoes off inside the apartment. These are clearly explained prior to booking. If it is a problem why would you stay and then criticize.I highly recommend ParkSide Stay as a great place to stay in Melbourne.Thanks Wendy for opening your apartment and welcoming me each time I return.Best wishes Dan

I recently spent 5 nights at Parkside Stay with my husband and dog Max. We were both pleasantly surprised and delighted with the location and ambience of Parkside Stay as we were with Wendy's warm and welcoming manner.The modern apartment itself was beautifully maintained with lovely extra touches like fresh flowers on the table. Conveniently located to quaint little eateries, local galleries and the CBD was an added bonus.A plus for Max and I was the gorgeous parklands at our doorstop!Thank you Wendy for providing a great place to stay. We will be coming back again and this time with both two legged and four legged friends!5 stars

Parksidestay is a great apartment beautifully furnished; I love coming to Melbourne and staying in CliftonHill. Clifton Hill is a friendly and interesting suburb and close to all of Melbourne,s wonderful attractions. We enjoyed another great stay at ParksideStay in Clifton Hill. The accommodation was meticulously clean and very comfortable. The location is superb for both ourselves and our cattle dog Kev who enjoyed the freedom of running around in the immediately adjacent park. The location is also close to the city and even closer the the great cafes and restaurants in Fitzroy and Brunswick.Wendy provided great hospitality and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay.

I would like to recommend ParkSide Stay as charming self contained accommodation when visiting Melbourne and especially if travelling with pets. Its proximity to spacious parklands made it an ideal location for walking our two dogs and stretching our legs as well. A colleague of mine suggested we stay there and we found it to be a comfortable oasis so close to the city. Wendy is a delightful host and a wealth of knowledge about the local area as well as the city. In fact we were spoilt by the choices for cafes and bars. The apartment is very modern, beautifully furnished, and with lovely large windows that look out to a sunny courtyard garden. Thank you for your hospitality Wendy!

Love this place! This is my third visit to Parkside Stay and as per usual it did not disappoint. My husband and our spoodle were made to feel completely at home by Wendy - who pulled out all the stops. We were provided with milk/bread, tea/coffee and flowers which was a lovely touch. We keep coming back for the location (stunning - parks everywhere for the hound to play and so close to the city). Despite being close to the city it is still very peaceful. It is a struggle to find a great place in Melbourne that is dog friendly but also feels like a home. The apartment has been beautifully decorated with furnishings, has lots of light and the bed is divine. Our dog even enjoyed play dates with Wendy's dog Zac! Taking your shoes off in the apartment is just part of what keeps it so clean so we were of course happy to oblige. Can't recommend Parkside Stay enough. We will keep coming back.
