Worked here 10 yrs ago Owners are the best.They do Aldi bread and sausage rolls, and now i see crumpets great! Owner is a thorough gentleman and his son.

I was working In Davies bakery 7 year plus I was very happy. But now I quit the the job because of Richard he is racist person in Davies bakery. I was requesting them give me shifts in afternoon what didn't. All people working from long time they left job because of Richard.

If I could give half a star I would, I have friends that have worked there and it is horrible conditions, majority of workforce is cheap labour, 99% is Indian, I even went for a job interview for myself for night shift but what they offered for night shift you would expect in 3rd world country. They worked my mate like a dog, they don't care about anyone other then there pockets. My friends have showed me videos that I now know only to buy bread from small bakery's.

I worked at a School whose canteen stocked Davies light rye bread. It truly is the best bread for taste and texture. I wish I knew where to buy this bread.

Love to work in Davies Bakery, Owner is very good man. Me as casual worker for a few years ago, but don't have an opportunity to be permanent staff. I think, because I am NOT INDIAN. I can seen, all INDIAN have a good opportunity there.Davies Bakery looks like little India.
