Knox Gorge Lookout
Probably the most remarkable gorge in the Karajini National Park with multiple water pools, vertical tall gorge walls and varied walking tracks. Most of the trail is grade 5 with some steep but short sections. Good shoes will help and you do not need to get wet to cover the entire walk. Water is cold due to shade from the gorge walls.

Lookout closed due to unstable ground. Gorge looks nice, grade 5 walk down with little water, but worth the look

Stunning. Very rough & steep path in & out but worth the effort. Rated class 5 so need to be reasonably fit. They say 3 hrs return but no more than 2.

Access is ok but many of the lookouts throughout the park are closed but not a lot notice until you get there. Roads could do with grading

Excellent gorge which was quite lovely with the bright green algae actually as it added character to the place. The end was worth it, there is a do not continue sign and past that it actually looked so stunning! The first part of the hike is so steep to get down and you have to get back up it, so it becomes a good workout. Extremely steep (much more than most guides will tell you). If you're unfit/scared of heights and insist on going, ensure you are fully equipped and go at non-peak times.

Knox Gorge Lookout
Knox gorge is a fairly advanced hiking trail with lots of loos rocks and a steep descent. If you are up to it the gorge itself is spectacular and most certainly something worth checking out. It’s quite a long path through the gorge to the end with one area where’s you must climb along a thin wall over water.The best thing is this gorge is not busy at all (at least when we were there) and therefore you can enjoy the landscape to its fullest.
