A hidden gem in Gordonvale. It’s a heritage building lovingly updated with respect. Boasting 3 rooms for overnight stays, with a quirky espresso bar in the fernery. Head on up the stairs at street level, for the best coffee in G’vale. The chai latte is to die for!!! Also available for small functions.

Wow! What an experience....the eclectic, shabby-chic decor just works! Great, funky vibe generated by host Rob Dupear. Even if you take your coffee with no milk, get Rob to fire up the steamer and you will hear a wonderful train whistle blaring outside! Coffee IS head-turningly good. 2 night's accommodation...was way too short.....and all in Gordonvale... the coffee cornucopia of Cairns!

We booked at The G at the last minute and Rob, the creative owner, was really accommodating and welcoming.The place was beautiful, you could really feel the passion that has been put into designing the space in every detail.The only cons was the privacy in the en-suite which was not how we expected. The room is adjacent to the share kitchen area and I think the ceiling is still in the process of being renovated.Overall we had a amazing stay and we will suggest anyone to check this place out.

This lovely, stylish hideaway right in the heart of Gordonvale is a find as is the helpful owner, Rob, who was so flexible and personable during our stay. An excellent option!
