For years I bought Stihl products from the same shop but am very disappointed on this occasion with response received with a repair request for a FS45 trimmer to fix a purge bulb not operating on a machine only used a few times and purchased at the same shop. Quoted $200+ to repair yet a new machine costs $280. YouTube suggests I can fix it quickly myself so will advise further later. Expected better as I have bought at least six machines there. Adding to my story, I bought new carburettor and full kit of spark plug, filters etc for about $30 on internet, fitted it in 15 minutes using instructions on YouTube and trimmer works a charm. You decide.

Excellent professional service. Carefully explained each aspect of my new 240 Brush cutter. And they can service their products. A subsequent visit sorted out my machine quickly ... wasps nest in the exhaust!!
