Main st was too busy so came up here and was greeted with a smile and served immediately by another friendly staff member. Coffee was perfect and not overpriced so v happy.Food and treats look amazing but I managed to avoid.

Came here for breakfast and to sum up what an excellent experience here. You can see the owners excellent attention to detail with everything here. Not the usual small old teapot, but a beautiful large designer one that doesn’t stew the tea and beautifully presented on a lovely platter with a good sized pot of milk.The muffin was perfect, warm, fresh and tasty and as an added bonus it came with some cream ( I would recommend you change to double cream rather than spray cream)The cafe looked lovely inside and I can’t wait to come back for tapas and the staff were very friendly and helpful.Prices were excellent and not the rip off you normally get in the area for poor quality and service.Congratulations to the owner for the care and thought that is obvious in all about the place. It was not what I was expecting in a small rural town!I will be back !

Great little surprise in a small country town of only 7000 people. Elk on 38 in Marricksville has great coffee, food, staff and atmosphere.

Not nut based milk. Aparently the owner has an allergy. A great place with good ambiance. Unfortunately I don't like any of there milk choices. No cakes that are gluten and dairy free otherwise a good range. If you are ok with above very good place to visit, just not for me.

The staff were an absolute delight! Music and atmosphere was such a vibe. The food was delicious and poached eggs were cooked perfectly!! Would recommend 10/10. Such a spunky, refreshing little town! xoxo

We had morning tea. Huge coffees and teas both excellent. Great food too. We had brownie and a muffin. Highly recommend

We’re new to the area and so pleased to have found this little gem. Good food, friendly staff and a warm seat in the sun during this cooler snap was perfect.I highly recommend and would (and will) come again!

Beautiful place to take your wife, partner or friend for a treat. Breakfast and lunch daily The staff are so friendly.If you need to make a change to part of a meal it's never a problem. This is a family owned business, employing local people.I've seen how far they have come with hard work and great choices.ELK on 38 well done.
