Tweed Heads Library

Great little regional library, small, but with a good range - and you can order in books from anywhere in the Richmond Tweed library network. The staff are helpful, there's storytime for little kids, clean facilities...And yes, computers you can use for internet and WiFi (though providing WiFi isn't really the primary function of a public library).

I have been to the library before, but this is also the Council Chambers and it is a venue for concerts by the Northern Rivers Orchestra which are excellent. The parking is good and there is only a few stairs,but there is also a ramp to enter the building as well as the venue. On the whole the area is flat.

All it is is screaming kids and loud obnoxious staff. I don't go there anymore for that reasonThen these loudmouths are rude on top of it. You can have your barnyard

Very noisy with small children and loud parents in the play area. Should be separate so the library returns to being a quiet study space. Found it hard to concentrate.Update....it can be a mixed experience. Sometimes nice and quiet and easy to concentrate, other times there can be various noisy distractions. People watching videos on their phones using speaker instead of plugging headphones in are irritating. And one time I had to wake a guy up who'd fallen asleep at one of the desks and was snoring. I don't know why staff let people continue to do these things.

Installing noisy toys for kids in the library where should be quiet just blows my mind. Really? what were you thinking?

Great library.Fast WIFI, (might be slower when more people using it.)Libraries are normally quiet & a place to study/read/relax, but in this case there seemed to be, (what I assume), a parents group singing, as nice as it is to hear babies giggling & nursery rhymes, it can be a distraction if studying. (I could hear them over my headset).Staff were welcoming.

The website hasn't been updated ,it shows the Tweed library is open today but it's not open until 3 Jan 2023.I wasn't the only one to turn up.

I went to get some copies done. When I pressed to copy I had 10 A3 papers come out, even though I checked that it was on A4 and I pressed cancel after the first print, but it didn't stop. The first person to help me, Tony was actually very friendly and he said just forget about the first prints. When I went to the counter to pay, he wasn't there. The woman at the counter asked me what he said, and I said that he said not to pay. She said, I charge you half price for the A3 prints, which were useless and I didn't want nor needed them. Half price was 30 cents per copy. I paid, and after I paid she asked me all these questions, which I already answered to her, I told her everything. But she forgot or didn't listen in the first place and wanted to know it again. But I already paid and I said that doesn't help me what she does. Another person came out and told me I was rude and I should leave straight away. I wasn't rude though, but I paid 6 dollars for prints I can't do anything with because the printer wasn't functioning properly and I wasn't going to spend more time answering questions that I've already answered and I had paid anyway. Worst Library experience I've ever had.

This is my favourite place to be when trying to destress!!everyhting that you could expect fantastic service,well mannered staff who are always so helpful. If you can't find anything they'll order it in for you no problems. The only issues that I have with this place is that they still haven't come up with a half decent internet connection for the wifi!!When I visit to not be disturbed during my research time the internet hogs down like a pig stuck with its head stuck in the fence.!!! the conncetion speed is slow and the uploading time of the websites is also slow. The upgrade that they did last year was supposed to of fixed this issue I was lead to believe BUT it hasn't, they only sped up the regular pc connections not the wifi!!!
