Karen has a mind like a machine for working out threads and counts! So helpful and friendly. All my favourite designers in one amazing store. Everything so organised and all sample work meticulously stitched by Karen herself.No more searching on the net and paying huge postage and shipping prices for patterns cut from magazine pages!!!!Thank you Karen! !!!

The Stitching Post has a fantastic range of fabrics. Chris is very experienced, friendly and helpful in selecting fabrics. I travel from the Central Coast knowing I'm sure to find a perfect border fabric which was my experience yet again yesterday. Love the range of tools, patterns and notions.

Wow what a selection!Over 3000 bolts of 100% cotton fabric is any quilter/seamstress’s dream! All organised so neatly and with a lot of care and love.Chris, the lady who works here, was so lovely and kind and she also runs sewing classes here.Also stocks a fantastic range of buttons and notions.So excited to sew and very inspired!

Chris has an amazing wealth of knowledge about quilting. She is incredibly helpful with putting fabrics and colours together and doesn’t hesitate to assist with any questions you have. I bought my Janome M7 from her last year and she has been very helpful with any questions I have. This is a great resource and a well laid if out shop so you can browse without feeling rushed or overwhelmed by not enough room to move

A quilters dream. Beautiful old house full of a great range of fabrics, threads, sewing machines, patterns and more. The new owner Chris is an excellent teacher. Classes are very inexpensive. Beginners will be patchworking & making quilts in no time.

What a lovely happenstance, finding this place. Ran out of embroidery silks & thought l'd have a long drive ahead of me to buy new, but found this shop online. Drove straight down there - lovely friendly owner, beautiful cosy home-cum-shop - and had everything I wanted and far, far more! Will be back, often.
