Rangoon Colonial Club Restaurant
A hidden gem in Crows Nest, this Indian restaurant serves up excellent quality with a price tag to match.The decor is exceptional and the service is great, however the price is just a little steep - given the serving sizes. The random 10% surcharge for all F&B is very strange and leaves a bad taste in your mouth.Given all of this though, I would still love to come back.

I visited last night for dinner, first visit sinfe covid hit us. The food was decent, staff was polite and attentive, ambience was good with good amoumt of space between tables. Overall it was a good dining experience; however, what left a sour taste at the end of the dinner was a 10% surcharge" slammed on the bill

Best Indian I’ve had in a very long time. Food was incredibly tasty and the service was lovely. Only thing I could fault is the garlic Naan (definitely could be better). Will be back soon!

What a flavourful menu! Everything is so tasty and made fresh. Whatever you order, you have to add the garlic naan. It’s a must! Also loved the setup! Very authentic.

Delicious food, great service and a wonderfully themed fitout of an English colonial club in India.There is a reason that this conveniently located restaurant in Crows Nest has been a favourite of many for decades.We were recommended the Sultan Goat Curry and Goa Chicken Xacuti. Both were wonderful, but the Sultan Goat Curry was particularly memorable with its succulent goat meat and intense sauce.This was our first visit, and it won't be our last!

The staff were very nice, great atmosphere and decorations. A large variety of options and decent price. The spice was a little bit lacking and could be a bit stronger. Cheers

We ordered food yesterday. It was the worst food we ever had in the past 8 years in Sydney. The saag paneer was bitter, mixed vegetable was stale could not eat and rotis were burnt. We ordered food at 5.30 and it was there at 5.45. How can they make all the items and also deliver in 15 to 20 minutes. They seem to have just heated up old food and given us. Not sure if it was a day old or more than that. Waste of money we had to throw the mixed vegetable. It clearly shows that the restaurant is not interested in giving the customer good food and experience instead wants to give away old food. Note to the restaurant do not fool your customers thinking they will not know when you give old food. Will never order from here and also highly recommend people to not order from here. Horrible experience.

We picked up a menu leaflet from the restaurant on Sunday 9th April and booked for yesterday (two days later) because the leaflet offered a 5% discount.Waitress said Oh that's old". I asked her to take this up with the management. We were just ignored.Meal was OK
