Tarana Station
Hidden camping , fishing and gold panning area where the start of Australian Gold Rush started in 1851 was on fish river running through this area the actual spot was 8 klm west along river and towns grew from this find with immigrant population exploding in NSW . The Chinese were experts and made fortunes in good and merchandising all the gear , food and clothing in stores and tents became much hated by many as they worked hard , would form large co ops and prosper better than 90% on the gold fields.
