Abermain Hotel
We stayed at this beautiful historic pub in Abermain, a small Hunter Valley town, on a road trip from Melbourne. Friendly locals in the bar, great selection of craft beers and delicious food. Accommodation is clean and comfortable with bush views. Easy going and thoughtful service. Walk around town and check out the historic plaques or take a short drive to wineries. Highly recommended

My wife and I and some friends dropped in for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals served up. My Thai Beef salad was one of the best I've had in a long time, the depth of flavour and freshness was awesome, I can't wait to return and try more of this pubs menu.

Ordered dinner via menu log, they failed to deliver and stated the restaurant is closed at 9pm after waitinga coupleof hours,you will have to cancel your order, pub doesn't value its customers, poor service considering its hidden location, menulog will no longer be getting my business, much better locations to stay in the area that I can say have nice food and service

Would definitely stay again. Good value, lovely team and friendly locals. Location was great for wineries and wildlife too.Only suggestion would be some more local wines available at the bar but there was a good beer selection.

A hidden gem with loads of country charm.Close to Hunter Valley vineyards and Newcastle.The beds are amazing - so comfy!The food was delicious, the beer was so cold and the staff very welcoming and friendly.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Garlic bread had mould throughout it and then suppressed the Facebook post and downplayed it as an isolated incident.If that garlic bread was manufactured and stored with a batch of 9 others what is the potential risk there?What about other food items, this incident is a result of inability. No appropriate food handling and storage measures were taken and the results have shown.Isolated incident or potential risk?
