Very poor Uber eats service. Ordered 2 big breakfast meals and two drinks, totalling $87. Food came 20 minutes late and was missing the two drinks and half the big breakfast meal. Asked the Uber eats driver where the rest of the food was, he said he was only given one bag for my order and another bag for another delivery. Called the restaurant and they said they gave the driver two bags. The Restaurant tried to get my drinks to me by asking me to order ANOTHER item, where we would spend more money and wait longer for our food. Unfortunately I am not willing to go through this very disappointing process again on a Sunday afternoon. Never ordering from Expresso Emu hall, ever again.

I read the reviews before coming here so my expectations on service were not high, staff were friendly and did a good enough job but the food was the major let down. $36 for frozen prawns was not what should be served with that price point.Big portions but if you are genuinely after a well cooked meal with fresh ingredients and balanced flavours, take a pass. Great to relax out in the garden though, very pretty view

Ordered earl grey (specifying I wanted normal earl grey) then get served French earl grey. Ask them if they don't have normal earl grey, then I'll have English breakfast. They bring me..... Chamomile!Ask another server very very clearly that I either want normal earl grey or English breakfast...They bring me back French earl grey.Almost like an episode of candid camera.The churros were uncooked in the centre but hey why bother. This place is a dead loss... The service is slow as hell, the management clearly don't know how to manage, the real really need to figure something out as this has become a joke

Menu has changed. Young children as wait staff. Nowhere near as good as it used to be. Got charged $10.20 for a shandy....ridiculous. Won't get going back!!

Ordered sirloin ($42) asked for med rare, got rare, cold, steak, that was tough and chewy, mash was nice but also cold. We were sat outside in winter at 630pm there was barely any heaters in use and the firepits were not lit, they had MULTIPLE tables out there with 1 heater at 1 end of the table (every couple of tables) when sat the hostess did not tell us if it was table service or go to register nor where to order. Very disappointed and will not return.

Orders where slightly mixed up but was promptly fixed up, only thing I would say is I prefer the leaves chopped of the strawberries on my pancake stake, I know there there for decoration but it's food not art! Overall a nice place for a date!

The food is really good but the last time we went there on a quiet weekday morning service was very slow. So slow we were convinced it would have been quicker to order our meal to be delivered to our house via Uber Eats rather than wait for 40mins like we did. The ambient sound of the woodchipper devouring branches during most of that time did not help. It just wasn't a pleasant experience. But the food really is good.

If I gave this reveiw when this place first opened I would have given 6 stars... it's ashame as it has so much potential and excellent location... the food is average and too inconsistent, the staff are good, but always new staff... the menu has potential to be great. I'll reveiw again next visit.
