Awesome pub meals, we both agreed we haven't had one better. The perfect steaks and the garlic prawn toppers are to die for !!!! The chef and bar ladies made it a lovely lunch stop whilst visiting the local areas. AAA1.

Meals are generous and very reasonable, though very ordinary. The service was quick and friendly, despite there only being one person behind the bar having to do everything, including the bottle-shop and charging in the bistro area.

Had a lovely lunch, $13.00 lunch special, the chicken salad, my partner had the 250gm steak, no complaints, fresh and perfectly cooked. Been there several times, always satisfied.

We go here often...it's a great drive..bit over 100 ks from the gold coast...we always have lunch at Simon's tavern ...great choice..great food...great staff....the seafood is brilliant...best chips anywhere and the larger meals are enormous.... definitely recommend a visit

I stopped here with family for lunch while we were sight-seeing in the area. They had a great lunch menu with various standard pub options. We all ordered the 250g steak with chips and salad. Great value for $17. Big portions and very tasty indeed!

Pros: I got WELL FED, bring a doggy bag if you come here. The vego options were not boring. Wheelchair friendly. The people are very nice: the cashier let me pay the old price shown on the menu instead of the dearer price in the system.Cons: there was a very bad smell coming from a kitchen (?!)

Stopped by for a quick lunch before heading to Warwick as we saw the lunch menu which looked good. My partner and I both had the 250g rump steak with fries. It’s a bit of wait but it’s worth as the steak was cooked perfectly. Just my peppercorn sauce was just so thick that I had to shared the mushroom sauce of my partner’s, which was yummy. The staff were friendly and attentive, the $12 lunch menu with reasonable choices, definitely recommend!
