Fantastic food and experience. Very quick, reasonable price and absolutely delicious. Lovely intimate environment. We went as 4 adults and 2 babies. The staff were fantastic with the bubs -able to provide 2 high chairs (and relaxed about the mess they were making). Would highly recommend

What a beautiful lady she cooks waiters does it all. The food is fresh and top quality. The food is definitely top standards and so fresh delicious. Would highly recommend. If I lived in Hobart this place would be my go to japanese . We have great Japanese in Melbourne but will say this is one of my favourite. Prices very reasonable also.Support a small establishment so.well.worth the service and food.

An absolutely amazing little Japanese restaurant. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good value. But the food was simply superb! Incredible quality and taste. I had their pork gyōza and mixed seafood okonomiyaki, and I will definitely be going back again. Highly recommend coming here for a meal!

A truly wasted dining experience whilst in hobart on holiday. Food was very much disappointing and a big let down. It seems it is not under the original management and as such food quality is poor now. Sushi rolls were bland, rice was unflavoured and overpowered with copious amounts of Japanese Mayo. Ramen was tasteless, more like chicken stock and not a true ramen. Pork katsu turned out to be a deep fried pork fillet without the panko coating. I had read lots of reviews and a 4.3 deserved a chance but I would rate this a 2 at best. Please save yourself a negative experience and I hope my review will bring the google rating back to a true reflection of this restaurant

MIYABI is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Hobart. The environment is very private and the food is very similar to what I have eaten in Tokyo. Teriyaki beef is very chewy and feels very fresh. Salmon nigiri is the best I have ever eaten in Hobart, and the shape is perfect, exactly the same as I saw on Japanese comics :)
