Wattamolla Dam
...magical...Water Dragons, lizards, eels, skinks, crows...the flora and fauna was plentiful.Wonderful opportunities to take stunning photos of our wondrous landscape. There are boardwalks in parts, the walk is easy from the carpark to the dam bit.So tranquil and serene...Nature at its best...Great spot for yoga, breath work, meditation, swimming, snorkelling or picnic. There is shade from trees and plenty of rocks to sunbathe.Toilets and bins at carpark...Whatever you bring with you, take back...Respect Nature and it will reciprocate...

Nothing fancy. Quiet area for a swim and is part of the coastal walk from Wattamolla to Marley Beach. Parking is nearby at Wattamolla car park and the hike to the dam is relatively easy. Good spot to rest and also climb a few rocks.

A nice alternative to Wattamolla beach. It's a short hike on very easy path and a peaceful swimming spot once your there. Expect many people.

LifeGurd are terrible. They are absolutely worthless and have a really nasty attitude. At the beach gate, which now closes at a very early time of 9:00 a.m., the traffic controllers are also extremely harsh and have a nasty attitude. The beach used to be much better before, but when the government has done some fixing, parking is not free.If the gate is closed? You will need to walk one hour to the beach, that is If they let you in, . Not recommended for Family with KidsIt was windy that blew away my hopesof having good times. But whatwind didnot blow awayare plastic cups and trashes that ruined beauty spot.Stopped off there on the way to Kiama. A little walk but ok with small kids. It was very quiet when we went with light sprinkle but a great place for a beach picnic. There is a small lagoon and the beach. Will go again.

Wattamolla Dam
Small secluded dam only 1km from the Wattamolla parking lot. The walk is really easy to do and even manageable with small children. Children love the idea of finding a hidden secret swimming hole too.
