ARC Projects

What an amazing company. We bought a new home, and one day before settlement, the previous owners had trouble with a tap which caused excessive water damage. We thought it was going to be a nightmare to deal with, but the guys from Australian Restoration & Construction company made it so easy.They are professional, and very thorough. Our project manager, Anthony, kept me up to date on everything, and was more than happy to answer any questions or query's I had.They went above and beyond for us, and we cant thank you enough.

I was assigned them by my Insurnace company. I had a great experience with them, particularly with Ahmt who attended to work at my property. He was very professional, polite and punctual. A pleasure to work with. Thank you Ahmt!

My laundry was damaged by a leaky tap. ARC came and ventilated it. Took a long time as the water had gone under the chip board affecting the timber. Zed and his team would patiently come to inspect the progress every 2 or 3 days to get things going and were so accommodating they would come at a time that suited me which was after work. I have not met anyone else who would do that. They were always very courteous and punctual. Zed was also very thorough with his inspections of the damage including the adjacent bedroom door and the cracked ceiling below the laundry.On one occasion one of the team used my bathroom and unfortunately damaged the toilet seat. Zed instantly offered to replace it. Although I said I would split the cost with them as it was very expensive, he declined as he wanted to keep me happy. He even offered to fix it for me!I am so impressed with Zed and his team I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to all my family and friends. I would give them 6 stars if I could!

ARC took over our house that was at the lock up stage, through insurance in July 2019. First of all, they did not start the works for 4 months without any reason. It turned out noone in the company knew that the project manager assigned delayed works for his personal reasons but sent us emails as if the works had progressed. When they finally started after we had contacted them , the workmanship had been everything but quality. Our project has never been managed efficiently nor have they taken any care not to impact our lives. Do not even mention professionalism. Almost a year and a half later, they still have not completed the works as per contract, they have created further defects and completely ignored 3 expert reports, 2 of which were performed by HBCF ICARE. At one stage ICARE requested a consultant from all parties including insurance's own perform an inspection and ARC's supervisor was on site, acknowledging all the incomplete works and defects. Soon after that ARC's Victoria based director who is also thevdirector of NSW branch started acting as if that inspection and a huge report had never been written. What is more, they tried to claim extra money for their defects under variations which was turned down by the insurance.Their Queensland based director has been contacted to no avail. Neither of them have taken the responsibilities of their own mistakes. They are clearly not on top of their jobs, nor have they been communicating with each other efficiently to fully understand where they have gone wrong with this prohect and how they can recover the mistakes.On the other hand, they are very good at claiming they have completed the jobs and sending invoices even though they have been made aware of incomplete works.There is so much more to say, I have waited 1 and a half years to write this review giving them so many chances to save their names and have actually never written a bad review before. However, we have had enough and we have now started the tribunal process. We are located in Newcastle NSW, looking at the reviews, it looks like they have different standards in different areas they work.I would have given them no stars as I believe they do not deserve any stars but unfortunately this is not an option.

I'm so happy with all the work ARC did at my house. They were easy to deal with, professional and very thorough. The project manager Chris kept me up to date and informed throughout the process. The various trades people coming into my home from mould removal, plastering, painting, etc were all great to deal with, polite and the work done is of a high standard - it all looks like new again. We had a water damage in our house and our insurance company assigned ARC to the job.We were so impressed with the way how our project manager Ray Peuraca has handled everything. After an initial damage assessment he organised for all different trades to come in and fix their part of the damage. We literally did not have to make any calls or organise anything. The works were completed within a short amount of time and to perfection.

The absolute worst company to ever deal with. My advice is: Do Not Use. 6 week project took 9 months, I had to coordinate trades and tasks, they do not do what they say they are going to do, the works completed are dodgey at best and their planning capabilities do not exist. I cannot recommend any part of there company for anything. I would not recommend this company or their subcontractors to pour a glass of water.

Dealing with ARC through insurance claim. I have been very happy with ARC from start to finish. Our site supervisor, RAMA, has been a pleasure to work with. He is professional, patient and always willing to answer questions, with his great management skills he make sure the job is done within the time frame.
